இதை போய் எம்ஜிஆர் u tube ல் சொல்ல முடியுமா நான் நடிகர் திலகத்திற்கு பின்னணி பாடுகிறேன் என்று சொல்லிக் கொள்வதில் பெருமைப் படுகிறேன். அவருக்கு கிடைக்கின்ற புகழில் ஒரு துளி என் மீது விழுந்து என்னைப் பெருமைப் படுத்துகிறது. நான் முதலில் "தூக்கு தூக்கி" என்ற படத்தில் சிவாஜிக்கு பின்னணி பாடினேன். நான் பாடிய முதல் பாடல் "ஏறாத மலைதனிலே" என்ற பாடல் தான். அந்த பாடலை நான் பாடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போது, ரிகார்டிங் தியேட்டருக்கு சிவாஜி வந்தார். எனது குரலை மெய் மறந்து கேட்டு விட்டு "நன்றாக பாடுகிறீர்கள். இனிமேல் எனது படங்களுக்கு நீங்கள் தான் பாட வேண்டும் என்றும் சொன்னார்.அன்று முதல் இன்று வரை அவரது படங்களுக்கு நான் பாடி வருகிறேன். ஆனால் பின்னணியில் திரை மறைவில் நான் பாடுகிற பாடலுக்கு உயிர் கொடுப்பது சிவாஜி தான். எனது குரலுக்கு ஏற்ப வாயசைத்து மெருகேற்றுபவர் சிவாஜி தான். கலைத்துறையில் அவர் தங்கமான மனிதர். உள்ளதை உள்ளபடி எடுத்துரைக்கும் நல்லவர். "ஞானஒளி" படத்தில் தேவனே என்னை பாருங்கள் பாடலை நான் பாடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போது, பாடலைக் கேட்பதற்கு சிவாஜி வந்தார். பாடலில் உள்ள சில அபிநயங்களையும், ஏற்ற..இறக்கத்துடன் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்தார். அவரது இசை ஞானத்தை கண்டு வியந்து போனேன். அதுமட்டுமல்ல;அந்த பாட்டின் இசையில் அவர் பேச வேண்டிய வசனங்களையும் நானே பேசும்படி சொன்னார். இதை போலவே "வசந்த மாளிகை" யாருக்காக என்று நான் பாடிய பாடல் ரசிகர்களிடையே மிகுந்த வரவேற்பு இருந்தது. அவருக்கு பாடிய எத்தனையோ பாடல்களிலும் என்னை கவர்ந்த பாடல் பாபு படத்தில் இதோ எந்தன் தெய்வம் பாடல்.அந்த பாடல் அந்த தெய்வமகனை மனதில் கொண்டு பாடியதால் உயிர்பெற்று நல்ல வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றது. சிவாஜி அவர்களை சகலகலாவல்லவர் என்றே கூற வேண்டும்.சிவாஜி பல்லாண்டு காலம் வாழ வேண்டும் என்று வாழ்த்துகிறேன் நன்றி. திரு.T.M.செளந்தரராஜன் அவர்கள் திலகத்தின் பிறந்தநாள் விழாவின் போது அளித்த பத்திரிகை பேட்டி .....
