Many of you might not know this: I started my career right here on this stage. 2001 was the year. I started as an acoustic guitar player with the one and only Smt. Lata Mangeshkar. At the 1:58, 3:19 minute mark you might see a person just like me in the left side of the screen 😅 The feeling of playing along with nearly 80 seasoned musicians, all following the same master tempo, all playing their own parts to perfection...it's an unparalleled feeling to be a part of this well oiled machine. And of course I was the youngest, the least experienced and also the ONLY female member among musicians.

I have been able to work out the shlok sung preceding vaishnava janato. Lata didi has sung verses 1 and 12 of the ram raksha stotram. It is in raag yaman and exquisite to say the least. This information is for those who go beyond the singing and look for something deeper.
