I went to this temple when my child was 6 years old. My child suddenly developed a fever, right before reaching the temple. We left her in the car in her grandma’s care for a few minutes and went into the temple. I remember praying profusely to Lord Vaitheeswaran and Thayalnayagi ambaal to remove the fever, as we wanted to visit all the temples. When we came back, my daughter was sweating profusely. After that , there was no sign of fever. I have only these seen these kind of miracles in movies, but for the first time in my life, I saw it happen in real in my life. It still gives me goosebumps. I have a picture of Thaiyalnayagi ambaal in my Pooja room and pray to her everyday. My child is now 18 years old. ❤ We hope to visit the temple again..

since no one answered, let me take that liberty. This lord Shiva temple is known as Vaitheeswarar (Baidyanath). He is our family God too. it is believed that planet Mars God himself got cured in this place. Goddess is called thiyalnayagi/Balambika. (Thiyal=Stich). Those who underwent surgery comes & worship Goddess for speedy recovery. It's absolutely a viberent temple bcas those who r Manglik (When Mars is Malefic) comes here from all over India as well as those who suffers for illness. Another highlight of this temple is Lord Subramanian (Karthik-Shivas son).He is called Muthu kumarasamy. it's a palatial temple..full of activities. it means it's a faith temple & actively used by locals. in our area lots of temples r with UNESCO. Those temples r beautiful but locals rarely visit. that is not the case. if u choose to visit, nice accommodation here. u can stay & visit temples dedicated to all 9 planets.
