I really like that people are going back to traditional licensing without that subscription BS for apps.

Thank you for this! I saw a video where you were showing a Nintendo being sculpted in Nomad and I was thinking to myself, I would build that in Blender and be done in a few minutes. I've been looking for a blender alternative for the iPad for a while now and had already given up hope. I use blender when I'm at home but when I'm on the go, I usually only have my iPad with me. This will be a great addition to my toolbelt. 😅

Yes, Nomad Sculpt has been our best options for modeling on iPad at it's price point, so I think we've all been trying hard to get Nomad to be an "everything" 3D tool, but at this time, it's not an ideal hard surface modeler. So I'm very glad we have a new option for that purpose. Thanks so much for the comment. Take care.

Im really excited about using Valence and Nomad together. I’m a novice at 3D modelling and sometimes the work arounds in Nomad fry my brain, so to be able to import from valence and sculpt into Nomad on iPad is awesome.

I’m planning to make a video about how Nomad and Valence can be collaborative. I hear you on the work arounds. Exciting times!

Thanks for this walkthrough. Ima. Hard surface typical modeller as I normally focus on building designs. Have you ever used sketchup? There are two usability features that I really like. The first is that , if you double-click, it can remember the last operation, and repeat it. So in the case where you were demo’ing the extract tool there…. You could double-tap on the face, and duplicate the action. In this way, you can make sure your distances are the same each time. Just as an example…. Really neat feature, I’d love to see that within Valence. The other killer feature, and this is something that blender has an equivalent for.. is the FollowMe tool. In essence, create a 2d profile, and extrude it along a line to create a profile in 3d. Such an empowering feature.. I wonder if valence has something like this. Great vid like always. Thanks for you time.

I have used Sketchup. It is a great app. I haven’t used it in a very long time though. Shapr was really great as well, but pricey.

That sounds like a great feature, the follow me feature that is. I don’t know whether or not Valance has this.

That's really big news. I wasn't aware of that. I wonder what they will price it at? Excited to see that. Thank you for the heads up. I'll try and keep an eye out for any news on that. I appreciate it. Take care.

Just came out! Doesn't have zmodeler yet, so I'm still in the market for a low-poly modeler. Valence looks like a good option

Toooooooooo much valueless talking

Very sorry smartidea. I hear ya. This really was only to make you all aware that Valence 3D exists. I am not a fan of this much blabbering. I'll try and keep future videos short and sweet.

I see you've added "valueless" :) Point taken. I hear you tho. I do appreciate feedback, both good and bad, so, I'll be better about it in the future. Thanks.
