I said it all along, they masqueraded last year. They played two good teams in the rain where it all comes down to lucky bounces, and two good teams not in the rain and got blown out. That WSU team was practically their practice squad, especially in the first half. Even in the rain, if Michigan has either peters ready or speight healthy they win.

goodwi11 who is MSU’s third string this year? Have them play vs Michigan. A pretty bogus holding call on third down extended an MSU scoring drive. MSU wasn’t gonna score in the second half with or without rain. Michigan could have without rain or with someone other than John o’korn. A ty Isaac fumble and some phantom holding calls granted MSU their two okay drives of the entire game.

It’s been said a lot before but dantonio was only able to build his program because penn state was down and Michigan was down, then OSU went through the tressel stuff. Lloyd Carr demolished Michigan on his way out and penn state screwed themselves. It was the equivalent of the big ten west. MSU was able to Wisconsin their way to big ten titles. And Wisconsin under bielema isn’t nearly as good as wiscy under chryst. The big ten was a joke. Once O’Brien rebuilt PSU, Meyer joined in and harbaugh came on, MSU has been passed up with real competition having some time to rebuild from their predecessors.

Msu is where we were( rich rod) a decade or so ago. As a michigan fan I hate to see state struggle because it's bad for the conference. Valenti is right, michigan state is running a daycare center and dantonio simply refuses to make the changes needed to compete in this division. As much as people harp on Harbaugh, he went out and hired one of the best defensive coordinators in the country. The offense is starting to pick up. Next year he may just hire one of the top offensive coordinator in the country. MSU hasn't evolved......not one bit. That hurts ticket sales, that upsets the alum, and the only thing you can sell recruits on is playing time because you dont have the depth in key areas like the offensive line. Get your shit together!!!!!
