I am listening to this impressive work with attention and admiration, as it often happens with Silvestrov's compositions. They keep me holding my breath at the edge of my seat. I am impressed, among many other details, by the variety of styles. At the beginning, there are really harsh passages, while the "Agnus Dei" sounds like Mozart, it could be a tribute to the author of another "Requiem" that belongs to the top ten (or which is the number one) of the repertoire. Thank you for sharing this beauty. My warmest congratulations to the composer and to the performers, and my best wishes of peace to Ukraine and Russia. Greetings from Spain!
