Looking at the motorhome and camper market myself. New vans are still available physical vans but at a heavy premium. Lots of near new vans also with low miles. Can still make some great savings over new. Depends how desperate you are for one. Also noticed vans for sale on autotrader this time 12 months ago have shot up to over 8000 compared to last years 6000 vehicles. I think people are cashing in at the moment. My own personal view.

prices are starting to fall, plus a lot of people are now stuck with scrap, that shouldn`t have passed it`s mot etc, and are advertising now, trying to recoup some of their money back, over forty percent of adverts are scammers, and god knows how many adverts, will NOT pass another mot, ect, ect, just check there mot history, it`s all there, even the mot testers are putting comments on, eg :- like "this is covered in very thick underseal", this vehicle is "dangerous", also look out for corrosion "fails" and other faults that reappear, that should have been welded or repaired, and now dvla won`t allow just any van diy conversion, to be registered as camper/ motorhome anymore, this results in new owners getting denied insurance, after buying a van with nothing more than, a bit of wood, a mattress, camping stove, coolbox, they have sold is a "camper van" ??, once you discount these and all the other none entities, were probably somewhere near the original figures.

thats your opinion , I do believe once folks go back to their holidays abroad prices will fall , yes supply & demand , the demand will go & the prices will fall , your vw tax exempted jobs collectors items prices will hold not your normal vans, just my 10p worth I'll hold off

I'm not sure you are correct. I have recently been offered £9000 more for my MH than I paid for it 3 years ago. New MH's are in short supply which is pushing up second-hand prices. Even when people go abroad (as they are now) a large proportion will keep their MH for their other holidays and weekend aways.

I think things are starting to settle. Its always syclecle for what ever reason this time covid. Not long a go 2,450 motorhomes on autotrader now 8,000 .prices wont drop off a cliff but thay will have to slow down ,as Anthony says its supply and demand and as supply increases the price must stabilise or even drop
