Sports in general is better off because of Val. I met him in Austin; he was so curious, friendly, grounded, positive and humble. Apologetic, and with a huge smile he said, “I-I am sorry, my English, is not a so good!” His English was really quite fine. Upon introductions, he told me he was there and in Moto GP. He asked me several questions about my town, me and my family, and just left me feeling like what I had to say mattered. At the time I didn’t know who he was or anything about his sport. That day, I committed myself to learn all I could about Moto GP and eventually realize who I met that day. Salute Val, the sport will never be the same because of you, in a great way, and it’s going to shine a little less with out you on the grid. You won’t need it but I wish you the best of luck with the academy and parenting. I know we will see great things from both. Thank you for everything!

@Brislu
@Brislu Жыл бұрын
@@gon.042 he already found it. He's problem was that it was after he run of luck (let's face it that he was pushing a lot on he's body). I hope he returns but I hope he doesn't dominate again the way he did it or at least not in a such an easy way, after all, we as viewers like to se riders win championships on the last race for example. I really enjoyed the season when Marquez was out during 2020. it was everyone's chance and it definitely was as almost every race had a new rider. This season is when things are going south as the bikes are getting a bit extreme in a lot of ways.
@gon.042
@gon.042 Жыл бұрын
@@Brislu I'm not so sure he did until he made the choice to get this last surgery, and I'll still have to see him on track to be sure. The fact that he was pushing himself as hard as he was without being 100% looked like he was trying to grasp at straws, like his carreer was slipping through his fingers, and it really wasn't the case (although it was close, because of how hard he pushed his body). It'll be great to see him come back and in the mix. And I don't think he'll dominate like he had before. His talent is undeniable, but every time there are more riders you can say that about too. And Honda is having all sorts of problems with their bike, they'll fix them, for sure, but I think it'll take at least a full season with Marc/Mir leading the development. This season has been wild too, just like 2020, it's all been about which riders are the most consistent.

@@Brislu I don't think he ever found it. To me he just wanted, and still wants, to win, just because he wants to be the first one above everyone else. I mean, it's totally legit and ok, its a race, everybody wants to win. But you don't almost kill people, to me he's like that

For us Italians, and for many more I think, his career has been such a fun ride. He's one of those characters that just makes you connect to whatever he's doing. And his storylines and races were just stuff of legend, and he's always been a hilarious guy on top of that. On a side note, and maybe because of this connection that he created between people and racing, the passing of Sic has been for me incredibly touching. The guy was my age, incredibly down to earth and had that same adventure spirit that Vale has. Never had I or have I to this day felt so deeply for the passing of someone I didn't personally know, I'll never forget that morning. 🙏

Michael Schumacher and Valentino Rossi are my biggest heroes they both had such an impact on me and Formula 1 and MotoGP and they achieved so much during there illustrations careers The fact that Rossi managed to do 26 years in the world championship alone is just beyond me, from the age of 17 to 42 winning 9 world titles and 115 Grand Prix And then there’s the podium stat which is just crazy 235 podiums and he scored at least 1 podium in 25 of the 26 years, that’s f***ing insane and he’s also the only rider to have achieved over 200 podiums not even anyone in formula 1 has achieved that I would personally rank Valentino Rossi as a very close second to my biggest hero Michael Schumacher as I said before these 2 are my biggest heroes and they will forever remain my biggest heroes Keep fighting Michael 🐐🐐🐐🐴🐴🐴🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🏆🏆🏆🏆 Grazie Vale 🏍🏍🏍👑👑👑🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

To be clear..Rossi didn't get slower or over the hill. He improved his lap times every race his last year.. It's Yamaha sitting on its hands ever since 2018 they have done nothing to improve the M1 And that's quite obvious now, unless the anomaly that is Yamaha and Fabio Quattraro is considered a success when the 3 other bikes fill the back of the grid.With 2 outta 3 unbelievably talented riders
