maybe your best song until now, for me. I was a bit sceptical when I realized the topic, because one seriously have to be honest when going this way. But you did it. It´s highly emotional with really clever and touching lyrics, the haunting music really draws the listener in. And your voice is great as always. 👏👏👏

Thank you so much. People kept warning me about going this direction, but I felt really called to it. These things have been weighing pretty heavy on my mind and heart. What’s crazy, is it felt like there was a force that was trying to intercept me from creating and releasing this. I fought incredibly hard the entire way through, not only recording and mixing the song, but even with creating the video. I had never had so many technical issues (that didn’t even make sense) in the middle of creating. It was intense. Many tears were shed, and lots of energy went into this. It took me 10x longer and 10x the amount of work to make this happen. I truly hope it reaches and impacts many people.

@@valeriehopkins943 Thanks, this is really interesting. I actually asked myself if creating this song might have been different for you. As someone standing outside I got somehow the impression that you possibly subconsciously tortured yourself to make absolutely sure to give all you can give, ... you know, art means suffering...)... I also hope it reaches many people.
