Since this video the valet company has admitted fault and the claim is being processed. I’m sure that meant they watched the security video and went…oops…unfortunately I didn’t have an SD card in the Tesla and had forgot to turn sentry mode back on after leaving for a long trip so the Tesla didn’t film the incident. Classic timing.

you shouldnt rely on a valet to know how to raise and lower every type of cars suspension..... the damage is to the splitter only and i can assure you it was a parking curb most likely.....

I owned a 2014 Flex with that engine. It just wants to go fast. I had a custom unit with sport suspension and it handled great. Best road car ever for long trips. Very comfortable. I miss it.

As an owner of a 2016 Ford FLEX, I have to agree they are cool, I also own a 2007 Shelby GT500, the thought of dropping the GT500 motor in the FLEX would be nuts. Hopefully the hotel does the right thing and lawyers don't have to get involved.

It would be best if you had your battery checked out. A hard collision could have shattered or cracked some of the connections (wiring harness) of the individual cells in your battery system. Once you crack your battery terminals the risk of a devastating fire is very high. Don't wait too long, if your battery connections have been damaged, time is of the essence for a repair.

a valet scrapping a front splitter because a car is so low does not call for a "hard collision" lol these cars hit potholes bigger and harder than this car did, this is cosmetic damage. hope this helps you :) cheers

Things must be going very slow with the hotel and the valet company to post this video. Here's hoping the hotel does the right thing because, clearly, it's not about the money or the damage, you're certainly wealthy enough to get it fixed. Do the right thing! Valet should have proper insurance to cover this.. its not exactly an expensive car that got wrecked.

It's a plastic aftermarket splitter with some carbon design, you're fine. If it were real carbon, it wouldn't have broken this way. The body wasn't even affected.
