Pros and cons for units.. Valeton pros: 8 foot switches & expression pedal Longer loop + nice drums It's easier to do live shows as you can just assign a switch out of 4 at the bottom for a patch you like.. Longer looper if you are a looping guy.. Mini jacks for headphone/phone "2/1" and usb type C.. Has MIDI-in&out.. Cons: It may have better sounding amps, but some of the effects are not that great if you are an effect guy.. You cannot turn off every effect mostly the cab.. The aux for headphone and phone should have been separate.. Mooer ge250 pros: It has easier buttons to navigate through.. Though it has 3 foot switches for the patch you need, you can also assign the same foot switch also to turn off the boost effect in some patches "which we can say maybe 4/5 switches".. The drums are more simple so it would be better for doing acoustic songs.. Special feature tone capturer.. The effects are super good for it's size.. You can turn off all effects and turn on even just an effect.. Separate headphone and phone jack.. Smaller and lighter.. Cons: It only has 3 "4 in some" foot switch and 2 more to navigate on which patch bank you wanna go.. Doesn't have a MIDI-in.. The quality of the amp isn't that great like valeton..

I am looking at the valeton now. Not all the part on the chain is independently on an off? I am trying to find one that can do 4 cable type with only effects and fxs on, Amp and cab off. So the valeton can't do this?

​@@liweiran254 Both the Valeton GP 200 and Mooer GE 250 can be used with the 4-cable method to achieve only effects and FXs with the amp and cab simulation disabled. The process involves creating an effects loop between the pedal and your amp while deactivating the amp/cab sims on the respective devices. For Valetone GP 200: * The FX Loop (SEND/RETURN) jacks on the GP200. Connect your instrument cable to the INPUT jack and another cable from the UNBALANCED OUTPUT (L for Mono Output) to your amp's input. * For the 4-cable method, use two additional cables to create an effects loop between the GP200 and your amp's effects loop jacks (SEND/RETURN). * Deactivate the amp and cab simulation on the GP200. You can achieve this by editing the amp and cab parameters within the unit. * With this setup, the processed signal with your desired effects will be routed through the FX loop, bypassing the amp and cab emulation of the GP200. This allows you to use your amplifier's own tone and character while incorporating the GP200's effects processing. For Mooer GE 250: * The Mooer GE250's SEND and RETURN jacks to create the effects loop. Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack and another cable from the OUTPUT jack to your amp's input. * Two additional cables are required to create a loop between the GE250's SEND/RETURN jacks and your amp's FX LOOP jacks (SEND/RETURN). * Ensure the FX Loop on the GE250 is activated and set to Serial Mode. You can find this setting within the Mooer Studio Software or directly on the pedal. * Most importantly, disable the AMP and CAB blocks within the signal chain on the GE250. This can be done by editing the corresponding parameters on the pedal or through the Mooer Studio Software. By following these steps, you'll effectively bypass the GE250's amp and cab simulation, allowing you to leverage your amplifier's tone while incorporating the Mooer GE250's effects processing capabilities.

Thanks for the comparison! To my ears the Valeton sounded a little bit better, but honestly, they both sounded good. Modelers these days lol. It's definitely not like the 90s where all of them sounded terrible.

Thanks for demoing them. For me the clean and the HiGain sounded better on Mooer, but the overdrive was better on the Valeton. The question is, what settings and modells did you used? I have the Mooer and I used do some tweaks to adjust them to my taste.

What mooer has of best is the OD and DIST, so it's unfair compairing only them. How about modulations, reverbs, delays, wah's, compressors?
