I've never had the thought to start building with beams like you would a building irl. I always put them in afterwards. You've opened my eyes, sir.

I have the same thing. Also cannot place the stone floor on the upper floor, nothing but the blocks in the corner will stay up. Either this is from an earlier build or I'mm doing something wrong! I have checked and doublechecked all the floor connection points and they are identical to the video so I am at a loss. Shame as I was looking forward to doing this build on my world :-(

Join the discord; he answers questions about every build he makes. For this one, once you're able to get the stone pillars up, it should be enough to hold the whole roof up. I used wood iron pillars as temporary supports before I got the stone up, but it's up to you

@@chrisbrown8677 To get the blocks to stay up, temporarily build a wooden beam underneath them until the floor is touching the other side of the wall. Think of it like it one side of a bridge doesn’t touch land, it’ll collapse under its weight, but if both sides are connected, the bridge won’t collapse. Just delete the wooden beams underneath afterward and you should be good, providing you aren’t building too far away from the foundation. I had the same problem you were having, and I think the recent update might have actually fixed this as it may have been a bug? Either way, my solution should work for you.
