😍I think this is my favourite so far! Definitely taking notes for my waiting-for-Mistlands renovation projects. That bay window with the inset cartography table came out AMAZING. And the market umbrella returns! The addition of the torches into the table is a really nice touch. I'm looking forward to seeing the new and improved Split Tusk Inn, I think that's a really fun idea. Thanks as always for sharing!

That "suddenly, TREES!!!!" thing always amuses me, when it doesn't startle the crap out of me. I love your tree-house builds, and if I ever need to set up in the swamp, I'm definitely finding a couple of the great big indestructible ones. Bonfires and braziers are great for that, aren't they? Cheers!

heck yea they are! Do it! Swamp treehouses are always awesome and most definitely easier to defend. lol I'm excited to build a few in there when we make it to the swamps. Got a few more Black Forest bits I want to build around though... been looking at trying to incorporate a Troll cave into a build somehow... lol

Love the build. I noticed that there are branches/small limbs coming off the trees right into your build. Do they grow at a specific height on the tree? Are there other trees that don't have that?

Hmmm.... I haven't really looked, I've never minded the little twigs... You could possibly build and avoid them, though it might keep you closer to the ground...

Don’t you fear getting attack by a troll? Every time I try living in the BlackForest I get attack by them. Even if I don’t live in the BlackForest I get a raid of Trolls just visiting my place. 🥲

Yeah, it happens occasionally. A Stakewall defense line and some decent kiting is usually enough to keep me safe. But yeah, trolls are always a concern.

You can always put up some workbenches just under the troll cave entrance and protect that workbench with some stakewalls. It won't stop the raids, but it should keep trolls from spawning nearby.

@@HiccupTheHermit I missed the video where you showed how to set up workbenches/walls in troll caves and burial chambers. Which one was it? I need to do that. I've got a new Black Forest base surrounded by burial chambers and a troll cave.
