I grew up listening to these guys. I always liked their reggae/hip-hop songs more than the ska/punk ones, but that is neither here nor there and it isn't really why I am writing. What surprised me looking at this video was that Brad was born in 1968, he would be 48 years old now! Wow, time flies. Love the people around you because it all happens fast.

Gwen Stefani watches these interviews late at night with a tear in her eye...Blake walks in the room and Gwen quickly puts on her best face card, knowing that she'll never have the same love connection she had with Bradley. Blake asks what she is doing while she nonchalanty wipes the tear and exits the video, putting her phone down...oh nothing honey, she's says. I was just watching an old video from years ago and it made me a little sad, remembering a time when things were a lot different and it got me in my feels. As she is saying this, she can't help fight the overwhelming sorrow and guilt she feels for knowing that she is still head over heels in love with a man that she will never seen again, a one in a trillion man..brad.

The self titled album, you can feel the hot summer nights and the sweat in that album… It feels so Southern California/mexican almost. Its an encapsulation of bradleys soul. Not many rockstars can even say theyve made such HIGH ART like sublime did… sublime has the reggae halftime feel and the ‘ska’ vibe, but i would argue that Sublime is neither reggae nor ska. I have a theory that this is him off heroin, needing booze to make the days easier with temptations and withdrawals
@NobodyQuiteLikeMe8 жыл бұрын
That's exactly what's going on. He was withdrawing pretty bad here. His thoughts are unchained and spastic. He is sweating and nervous and easily irritated. Its exactly how I used to act when I had to do something somewhat awkward while withdrawing off heroin. And booze always helped when I couldn't score.

i wasn't fortunate enough to have ever met Brad, but regardless, i for some reason feel like i miss him, i guess it's because i love his music so much, i lost my dog a few months ago to old age, hes my best friend, i love him so so much, im still heart broken honestly, but listening and playing to Brads music on my guitar makes me feel a little bit better, it takes me back to the days i used to listen to his music with my little buddy, the days i used to play my guitar with him as my audience, thats probably how Bradley and Louie spent alot of their days, we all miss you Bradley, you and Louie, i miss you too Shadow, i love you so so much mi hermanito querido

Man, I always find myself asking questions like “What would music sound like today if we still had absolute geniuses like Bradley Nowell, Freddie Mercury or Kurt Cobain around contributing to the industry??” 🤔 lol. Like imagine if Bohemian Rhapsody was just Freddie’s FIRST epic poem, and that by now we’d have like 2-3 MORE Bohemian Rhapsody’s in our lives that just require the most powerfully forceful head banging a song can physically bring out in a person lmao 😂 EVEN IF by some completely fucked up, twisted, universe shattering chance you HAVEN’T seen Wayne’s World, you STILL have to pound your head as hard as fuck during that solo haha 😆 I wish we still had those blokes around.

thanks for the upload, first time seeing this! damn it Bradley, i get so pissed....music would be totally different if Bradley was still around..and they'd still be selling out world wide, but everything happens for a reason, and there is a lesson here...but damn Brad was the shit, and his music is still highly underrated.
