hi3 has so much potential but is ruined by corporate greed ,most of the new character which comes out are just to power creep and kill old meta endless cycle the old valk also not getting revamp. or buff (justice for HoHe) plus the f2p option are so limited u have to spend so much crystal just to get 1 char. + u even need a weapon and THREE!!!! stigma

for new players... i honestly recommend to get sena and thelema (both will run in 7.4) and then pull for whoever u like, those 2 will be able to carry and brute force 99% of the game

I think part 2's characters will be the optimal investment from now on. Although HoTr, Luna Vow and FoV are still OP, I'm afraid that the meta is soon shifting to Astral Ring oriented teams (just look at the new Abyss bosses in 7.4) so they can be out meta at a faster pace. Anyway, helpful content and I love hearing your voice!

As a Myriad player I'll just say for newcomers too regarding FoV, Starlit Expression and Cosmic Expression and Lunar Vow: - FoV is so strong she can even cover bosses that aren't for her BUT she will get replaced by better dps in the future but not anytime soon. She is the fire empress for now. Regarding Memorial Arena, she is extremely powerful there too but with her SS gameplay unlocked. SHe can 0s The Alien Guard. She can 39800+ SSS Benares with HoTr and Luna (meaning she can compete with the Trio easily there despite not being her boss). She even scores better on Sirin's boss due to her sheer power. But S rank FoV and SS rank FoV are two different monster. Don't waste crystals on her. Her super cheap banner has already passed, not worth it to pull her anymore. - Starry Expression is an absolute monster of a unit still even if really slow nowadays. Strong QTE, strong buff, SP regeneration. Manipulation of timer in MA. You will always use her on Bleed boss, SS rank Boss for 0s kill and some other very technical boss like Jizo for a fast kill. A way better invest for now over Cosmic Expressions. - Why is Cosmic Expression less valuable than Starry? She is more for high end players because her strength revolves about being an amazing Lunar Vow support which permits to let HoTr/Eden to be used in other Memorial Boss. Cosmic rotation is really fast and nice but her DPS value for stardust is really rng and slow. She will only shine as a high end technical unit for the Twin guardians boss, Heimdal SSS, Bright Knight: Excelsis and some 0s kill but even then there are other options. - Lunar Vow: She is an amazing DPS and an Amazing support enabling you to put HoTr in another team if needed. She has so much time slow, dmg and time stop that she can annihilate most Memorial bosses and Superstring bosses are mincemeat against her. But. Even if she plays as both support and dps, it's not the anniversary anymore and she is a high end unit too. Not a good invest right now for a new player. Aso most of her absolutely insane potential lies in her S2 rank and SS rank even if her S0 is already disgustingly powerful. Now little other advice as to why Part 2 Valkyries are a better investment for you: - Honkai Dev Team said that from now on Valkyries won't solely be a support or a dps. They will be way more special and polyvalent than that. - Senadina is right now, a DPS but her hidden talent has been unlocked in 7.4 and she became the specific support for Thelema, the new ICE dps. And surprise, Thelema is also the support for Senadina. Meaning that by pulling Senadina you get both a support for the new character and a dps for Stardust and Lightning weather. - New valkyries don't care about typing so much anymore. before, teams had 3 fire valkyries, 3 ice valkyries etc etc. Now you can have 1 lightning, 1 fire, 1 ice and it would still work greatly. - New valkyrie teams being made of different types enables you to have the hard and expansive (only Trio before) Symphony Weather coverage for Superstring. It's really huge as this weather is a literal nightmare if you don't own the Trio at very high level. - You will probably even get new otherwise complicated coverage in the future like the SUmmoned Entity one but without coping with some valkyrie like Mobius and TeriTeri. Best part of it is that you will already have a whole team as new Part 2 Valkyries can support each other in perfect synergy despite being of different type.

@@seccre-h8f Honesty, the most important thing is getting the weapon. but Senadina works best with Coralie which you have fullset for free and Helia. There really isn't any other copium set for LV except if you have Tesla Band M and Turgenev T & B. But the pity system for Part 1 Valk is not forgiving unlike part 2. You should go for Thelema anyway as she supports Senadina and is supported by Senadina and covers a huge range of bosses : all ICE Bosses, Symphony bosses, Lightning bosses, stardust bosses etc. She is future proof. and Part 2 Valkyrie can have their stigmata crafted. Top Team is Senadina DPS + Thelema support + Helia or Coralie or Thelema DPS, Senadina support, Coralie / Helia Then again, remember this is a gacha game and a waifu collector, pull and fullset the valkyrie you like the most. I'm only talking from the view of a Top 100 Server player meaning I'm only talking about meta value. The most important thing is to have fun

Please help me with this delimma, i can get both FoV 4/4 and Lantern when she releases but my question is, Will FoV be useless by 7.5? I don't want to waste that many crystals for it to be useless by the next patch. Heard a couple of ppl complain about FoV being relevant only up until now and they are not happy about it.

For new players I would advise AGAINST pulling starlit expression gears. She's a slight increase over eden in 1 team (lv dps) I would recommend just playing fischl + eden team for LV dps and save your pulls. As for another bleed dps getting released, do note that all Valkyries released from now on will have optimal part 2 specific teams so SI doesn't even have significant future value

idk, CE is a new valk and specialises in bleed which means she won't phase out anytime soon so it won't be unadvisable to get her gears. she can be used as a physical/bleed DPS for many new players and when you get a LV, you can use her as a support and she won't be benched. tho yea, she's a part 1 character so honestly just get new part 2 characters.

There's very few guides out there so any guide (not that your is bad, it's great) would be appreciated. I think when I've started playing there's a progression guide that you can follow along like lv10-20 20-30 and so on. Returning to the game a lv.80 with zero memory and there's so many things to do (and to not do lol) so this helps a lot. I'm Seele+Bronya simp I still think Bianka is the coolest Valk lol *PE is coolest tho hehe

I personally think I did a big brain thing, when I got HoRb recently in her rerun I only got her cuz I saw she was on the beginner supply so I could roll for her gears for the next 80 ish days at the time…..so hopefully I’m set very soon on her but I might stop spending my gems on her gear for a little bit cuz I want thelema

good guide. I think I probably agree with most things here, I'd just like to point a few things I disagree with FoV is not a must pull, she's a pure DPS and doesn't offer the same longevity as supports do. She'll be relevant for 4-5 more months sure, but her bosses will only be sprinkled in past that point. Not to mention she's already been rerun, so I don't think we're getting her again next patch. Also generally people shouldn't pull for DPSes after their initial banner. Putting cosmic expression in the same tier as 7.3 trio, LV, HoRB, and HoTr is quite frankly misleading. I don't know if I could even argue her to be a high priority SP valkyrie with how niche she is currently.

As for Fu Hua, I don’t think that she’s a must pull either, that’s why I mentioned that she’s heavily reliant on her gears, but she still is the best fire DPS and she is new after all so I couldn’t leave her out. She's not on the same level as LV, HoTr, or LV at least. I don't have an issue calling her a one of the best DPSes rn, but putting her in the same section as LV, HoRB, and HoTr seems to imply that she's relative in terms of usefulness to them. Although this is a very opinionated take, so I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking she's relative to them.

Dps is never a must pull, so I disagree with you there. She's a bad pull especially for a new player, she's gear dependent and her main support is hard to get. Worst of all she was easy to rank up in her first debut, now people are paying regular price for S0 Also - part 2 characters are main priority over part 1 and part 1.5 characters No part 1 is a must pull or even recommended to pull because part 2 characters are new meta

hi! to be honest I would really take up part 2 characters as your main priority. Theresa is very good, but these new characters are only getting better with time. As for Thelema or Senadina, for now I would suggest Senadina. Thelema loses damage if she’s run in a team with part 1 supports(kira/sushang) compared to running her with Sena and Coralie. For now I would say wait for Senadina banner, or possibly the new fire s-rank that got teased today! Thank you for watching and commenting! 🤍🩷

Any tips on agony 1? Whenever I play on abyss, I could deal damage but to the enemy's HP bar, it felt like an ant tickling a giant 😂 Granted my physical DPS isn't really up to date (HoV) but she's the best I got.

unfortunately HoV is completely useless, You're better off farming Griseo Cosmic expression or Susannah who do bleed dmg and can deal with physical weathers, farming to buy Miss Pink Elf from War Treasury, or just waiting for the next physical dps to come around! :D

The different recommendations feel a bit odd for Chrono Navi/HoTr, they're both old (only 5 weeks between them), and they're both very meta with no indication they're going away in the near future. But the gacha unit is one of your most recommended and the farm unit is one of you least recommended?

they’re not the same though, chrono navi can only be used in fire teams, while hotr can be used in literally any elemental team, including the trio and Senadina. the only other revolutionary support like HoTr we’ve had is AE and it took exactly 3 years for her to be outclassed.

Is Helia's weapon essential? I'm uncertain if I'll manage to farm up enough crystals for both Thelema and her weapon, along with Helia's weapon :(

Helias weapon is strong, it inflict a total damage taken debuff in enemies hit. However, it isn’t nessacery for her. Still, fully gearing the Senadina trio team should be your first priority as a new f2p player. It should allow you to brute force most endgame content. Then start on the other teams. Ice is cheapest with both the support characters (Li Sushang and Shigure Kira) being farmable.

since you’re a beginner, i would really recommend rolling for part 2 characters(senadina/thelema). the meta is shifting towards part 2 characters being the only meta. all part 2 characters have their stigmas craftable so you only need to roll for their weapon which has a 60 pull guarantee and the pity carries over, unlike for part 1 characters’ gear banner where the pity doesn’t carry over. part 1 characters are getting replaced pretty fast and they’re more expensive to build. besides that, just to mention it, in general characters always need their weapons. as for part 1 characters, supports use turgenevTB/mei beach party M. DPS’ are pretty reliant on their stigmas though. best of luck!🩷

If you just started, it’s recommended to pull for the characters from part 2 (for this patch, Senadina) due to their weapon and stigmata being easier to obtain. Even if you don’t have enough time, the pity for character is kept for the next banner, so it’s ok. Regarding pulling for starter supply, it’s totally fine to do so in my opinion. I personally like part 1 characters more and also they are still strong, especially Seele. (Kiana is also strong, but needs 3 s rank characters for optimization 😂) Tbh, I would suggest pulling for characters you like instead of meta if you just started. It’s not hard clearing story quests, and it only gets sweaty in late game and requires meta characters.

no you're doing everything wrong, starter supply is a 50/50 banner, herrscher of finality is expensive to build and a bad pull for new players specifically because of that You should've pulled on expansion supply because Senadina is new meta, she's a lightening dps and elemental support plus her teammate are just two obtainable A ranks they demolish majority of content

I would really advise against rolling on starter, HoRB is amazing yes, but HoFi is one of the worst pulls for beginners as she needs two other characters and needs her gears. Don’t be discouraged because you missed out on Senadina, characters in this game have reruns very often, so she’ll probably be back in 2-3 months! As for now, save your crystals for Thelema next patch, there’s still a month before she’s released AND her banner will last 3-4 weeks. Best of luck! 😙
