@@troggdorthesecond Nero was always his own character though. I think fans issues with him has to do with the way DMC4 was composed that resulted in Dante's section getting cut and replaying Nero's. But I always saw the distinction between their individual personalities and he carries that over into DMC5. He is consistent as a character.

A few issues i have with this (and everyone saying it): Dancing like MJ is not exactly a "gay" thing to do so i don't understand the joke The "gay cowboy" was reffering to Dante's design in 4 rather than his attitude since initialy Ninja Theory wanted to make reebot Dante more closely to his personality in 3 but Capcom said "make it different like day and night" and they comitted hard to that request

Virgil has his Doppelganger. the reboot is all over the place. but he's also willing to point at the shit thats bad, and correct it for stylish or comedic effect.
