Why does the motion of these computerized Typhoons look so more natural than the B-17s in Masters of the Air? Is it because individual players are "flying" the aircraff but in the streaming show it is "one" master algorithm?

Tbh I didn't think masters of the air was that bad... But I think the difference is less the simulation and more having "real" pilots flying the aircraft so they move like someone is actually behind the stick reacting in real time rather than storyboarded, pre-planned movements.

@@wimwamjoey Not sure how old you are, but if you are a boomer like me, I grew up watching nothing but real footage of aircraft in flight, okay with the exception of some of the cheesier models on strings in some films. Watch the old Series "12 O'clock High". Maybe some of it is that I am also used to the camera angles used when you have to be on a camera aircraft looking at other aircraft and the CGI viewpoints throw me off.

Yep, I'm running a quest 3 with a 3080. Note that the game does not look this good when I actually play it. I jack up the settings to get footage from recordings after the fact.

not histocialy right on typhoon marking 486 (sa) never flew rocket firing typhoon with shark teeth late war when stationed in Europe they had the better tempest v
