Holy crap, you made that look butter smooth! Great video and looking forward to tackling that for my sister this weekend! Keep up the great videos!

@@jeffmorrissette2643 Overall it's not a bad job. I would recommend spraying a penetrant on the sway bar threads as soon as possible. That's the hardest thing to remove. Maybe have a pair of links on hand in case you need them. You can always return them if you don't need them 👍

Nice video. Might I add its always good practice to leave nuts on the end of bolts before tapping them out so as not to damage the bolt threads.

Tapered end bolts not much of an issue. But flat end bolts absolutely.

Very good video. I found it very helpful to know I can tackle this job as a DIY'r . Broke a spring on the driver side and the bearing at the top is about shot too. I've installed ready struts before but not on this model. It's always good to review the job before starting by watching a video like this in my opinion.

Thanks for the video, can this job be done with a breaker bar or do I really need the impact wrench? I've done brakes on my car with a breaker bar but are these bolts harder to get of than the ones in a brake job?
@ValleyMobileAutomotive24 күн бұрын
@@scottie2d145 An impact makes it easier but I think a breaker bar will be just fine. I do recommend a torque wrench for tightening 👍

I have a link in the description for Monroe struts. Other good brands are KYB and Gabriel. Either of the three brands will be good 👍

The tire shop was going to charge me about $1000 for this. It is nice to own wrenches.
