Your videos are among the best bike park reviews i have ever seen... youtube is filled with bike park reviews and information, but you are one of the few that really gets into what new riders really need to know to survive out there... Dont get me wrong, teaching bike skills is ok, but once you spend 2 or 3 days at the bike park, the flow of the trails will quickly build in to your body and you will get the groove pretty quick. Telling you were the nearest ski lift and how to get there from or emergency/rescue boot is can be a life saver. Thank you for the great content once again Luke !

No need to thank. Thank you for making bike parks like this easier for new comers like me to attend and understand. Preparation is key for a good time, and this is one of the most helpful content i have seen on this subject =)

most people stay at Arinsal a village up to from la Massena. No gondolas run from Arinsal in the summer but they have put a connection recently so you ride down to la massana ( all down hill) and when you come home its a big gondala connecting you to arinsal pic negre ^. would recommend staying in Arinsal has a better atmosphere. for brittish mainly as there is lots of British pubs like 360 , hunters few more !

Thanks for making such a useful video. I'm taking my 14 year old son to Vallnord next week and we have both been apprehensive about the trip. I was concerned that it might be too 'full-on' for him, but having seen your video I'm sure we have made a great choice. Thanks again. Let's do this!

Simon Came no worries dude. It is an amazing place and a great selection of trails for everyone!

You fork off........ great video and you have swayed my decision to go to Vallord and not Sierra Nevada, going with my wife and youngest son, I have just shared this video with them, very informative, so it will put the wife's mind at ease. Keep up the good work and keep them coming.

Robert Reid nice one man. I had you in mind while making it. Will do on Sierra Nevada bike park next week but I would definitely choose Vallnord.

Thank you so much for producing this. I’m headed there this weekend, and the official website for Vallnord isn’t very comprehensive. This paints a clear picture of the situation.

Comprehensive review, looking to go there in the next couple of weeks as a break from windsurfing at roses. Is it suitable for kids?, mine are 8 and 11 and they have ridden part of the red route at Whinlatter, Cumbria.

Another excellent video! I'd love to go some place like this, but what rig would you recommend? I'm sort of inbetween bikes as I have a T130RS trail bike, but also have a Demo 8 dh rig as well. I'd like to think that the Demo would be more suitable? Thanks.

Would you reccomend this bikepark for a solo trip? I live in Ireland and looking for a place to go and ride. 3/4 days trip with cheap accom and bike rental.
@ReluctantRider6 жыл бұрын
IndependentALEX I went alone and had a great time! In terms of cheap accommodation and bike rental I'm not sure. I stayed in a campsite and had my own bike. I don't think either will be cheap in Andorra.

Hey rider, maybe we could meet labas, in the week of May 8, May 9th or May 10th. If you go riding labas, you can give yourself appointment. I will love her you meet. sportingly

@I LOVEMUSIC sorry mate, I'm trying to word the reply politely as I get a lot of these types of messages. Why would you ask me these questions and not use Google to find out yourself? Google maps for routes between camp and park, Google to find our prices to fly a bike, and Google to find rental places and costs? Why would you not just do that?

Not really mate. Others might disagree but bike parks are for full sus enduro bikes as a minimum.

@071972jonah6 жыл бұрын
Reluctant Rider ok I see just wondering if the drive was pretty straightforward to the UK?
@ReluctantRider6 жыл бұрын
Ah I see what you mean. No problem driving to/from the UK. It's border-less coming in through the North even though Andorra is not in the EU. There is a border into Spain but they never checked anything, I guess because I had EU plates? Take passport though. Also google toll calculator France. It get's bloody expensive if you take all the toll roads all the way and it's not a massive amount longer to take the other roads. Driving into Andorra / The Pyrenees is breath taking!

Thanks man. Sorry no more details on the insurance. I just paid for it with the ticket online. It's for recovery off the mountain etc as it's pretty extreme.
