Valor Ridge (Tactical Training) Gear List

If you are preparing for to take a pistol or rifle training class this video will give you a very solid foundation and then some of things to think about and bring with you to your class. While this vid is specifically of me prepping for Valor Ridge there are many other great schools out there. You do not have to spend lots of money to play in the big leagues. As I say in my video i spend several years taking classing with locally at very affordable prices. My advice is to make sure you know all of the basics before you show up at a bigger class so that you can get the "most" bang for you buck. Your millage may vary. Firearm lube. Mobil One 5/30 W and axil grease. If it's good enough for a 30 thousand dollar truck. Should work on a 500 dollar hand gun. All those fancy lubes is waste of money. Save the money for training and ammo.

I would lose the frog lube completely. I have heard waaay too many horror stories about that stuff getting gelled/stiff so bad that the gun won't cycle if you leave it on too long without use.

That's been in very cold climates, and usualy after sitting for extended periods of time.

All I need for cleaning my AR is a bore snake, chamber brush with rod, and Amsoil MP (Metal Protector). every few hundred rounds I spray some MP in and through the gas ports and chamber.

25.99 for frog lube dam I didnt know it was that much i paid 7.99 for mine years ago, yah i guess i wont be using it anymore either. I like it so im gonna try coconut oil, I dont find my self in subzero temps so frog lube has done well for me. I like that I use it once then cleaning every time after is a lot easier.

I was thinking the same thought. I'm 64 and would be worn out with just 2 Glock mags and 2 AR mags on my belt and the 2 weapons. Great Video though, enjoyed every minute of it. Good thing He's a Hiker.

Haha. Your right brother and as of this posting it looks like rain is coming in on day-2. Works for me either way, I'm not gonna melt and I'm going to make the training worth while no matter what. I'm super excited at this point! Oh....thanks for the positive feedback.
