Couldn't agree more with everything you've said. Val is way too fun to give up for me and I still have some grinding to go up the ranks, but the throwing and no comms becomes stale after the 5th game in a row of it

I really don't think that's the case. Making a block system involves developing databases, syncing across platforms, all while maintaining seamless gameplay performance without interfering with the player's experience. So, I don't think they're lazy; it's just that their only option for now is to let players 'block' others by muting them.
