Hey girl, you have come a long way sis. it is well known that everything in jamaica takes a long time, it is very frustrating and such thing need to be fast tracked. this is one of the reason why business cannot be done in a reasonable timeline. Until jamaica come into 21st century , we will not move forward. I know what you mean, very frustrating to say the least. Anyway sis i pray you get there soon, keep the faith and stay positive. hang in there.

I am having similar challenges with KSAMC. Each Building Officer has his own preferences and it is almost impossible to deal with one as the certified copy of land title is valid for only 30 days and it'll be longer than that to get another sit down with the same Officer as before. It's extremely difficult doing business with govt agencies in Jamaica. They sick stomach! Here's to us getting our house plans approved this year.

Praying for you Auntie Val. I truly don’t know when Jamaica will stop being lackadaisical about doing business. I truly hate it! Then the citizens get so used to the slow pace of things that they find it normal. I never forget, my baby drop and bust up her face in Ochi. Literally bleeding so til the blood running into her eyes. I sit in the doctors office over 2 hours waiting for a doctor to see her and give her stitches. I’m not saying that her needs outweighs the rest of patients but my God! You see a baby screaming in pain and this doctor had no sense of urgency. Not even a towel or ice pack them offer to help with the bleeding.
