I'm on day five of the diet. The first three days were hard, but I feel great now and I know it will change my eating habits moving forward.

I'm on day 4 of the fast mimicking diet and I can't believe hw miraculous it's been. Day one and two were rough but I came through it. Before this diet, I thought I was dying from Candida but it's so much better and I feel well being for the first time in many months. I will keep going

This video has been revised and uploaded in a new version. A spelling mistake has been corrected, and the title of the lecture has been changed from what was announced beforehand to the title Dr Longo actually used.

the difference in Longo and the FB docs like Fung and others is that Longo actually does the studies and research himself rather than just read the books from years ago to find their info.

I coach people through the process of fasting of different lengths for over 30 years. They go with no fear, as coaching allows to decipher and sort out many historical memories about fasting. I love the fact , that this research takes place in my neighboring USC, where I previously worked

So interesting how much high protein is associated with aging and decline. I have known about this for a while but this seems generally unknown by a lot of people.
@magicf7076
@magicf7076 2 жыл бұрын
It’s not. Protein does not do any harm, scientists know. Walter is not a nutritionist. The problem is sugar and vegetable oils.

Right at 8:00 mice get cancer at the age of 1yrs. to w yrs..and very rare humans hardly ever correct cancer at the age of 1 - 2 . .. Mr. Lingo as you know in mouse yrs. 2 equivalent of 60 yrs. In human beings. ... love your work .

@Fredo Corleone I agree with Mr Corleone's comments. When presented with simple solutions and clear evidence with significant correlated factors (the number of centenarians in each blue zone, lifestyle and diet), how is it possible the majority of comments below offer no critical thought or alternative data to support their opinions. In basic terms your opinion means shit without evidence!

I suppose they (longo, Sinclair etc) are missing something. sacropenia is one of the signs of again. Fasting increases sarcopenia. They suggest fasting as anti-aging.

The studies they did by doing fasting mimicking where you are still taking in low calories instead of water fasting coupled with physical activity, showed people did not lose muscle mass which is important.

@@jameszcurtis that are short term studies, while sarcopenia is a long term process, starting at 30/40 years and lasting for the entire life. The only way to fight it id increasing muscle mass.

Fasting while on a LOW CARB DIET doesn't provoke Sarcopenia. If cavemen got sarcopenia after not eating a while, Humanity would have died out! They went hungry for long periods then went out hunting & gathering on empty stomachs. They had energy & muscles..that's why we are around nowadays stuffing ourselves as much as we can!
