This is seriously good value, no pun intended. 20 years ago nothing like this would even be possible, amazing!

It is definitely much more reliable to know the historical structure of a business and the persons that guides it , to be able to predict the future based on its intrinsic characteristics.

Aswath, thank you for your posts. I recently found your channel and have really enjoyed the content. I believe in video 3 you mentioned you have ~50 stocks based on a mix of your confidence level being low and the lack of virtue (being right does not mean price will revert). Therefore doesn't this just cement the case for index investing?

Is it then today still valid to compare today P/E Ratios of the overall market with historical P/E ratios to came to the conclution the market is overvalued? If no, what measurements would be better today?

Professor what about having a look on value investing from the eyes of peter theil (technological singularity) For sure, there's baby with the blood bath but it would be insightful to see your perspective Source : zero to one

The legend of Value Investing also benefited from the Dot Com bubble - where speculative growth stocks got slaughtered.

there is no such thing as value investing anymore. no company is truly value now. is all about the price and the earnings power and finally how much market cap the company can grow
