Randy is my favorite Quaid brother and that’s saying something because I love Dennis. Randy just hold a special place in my heart because I didn’t have a great childhood, one of the few escapes I had was our families VHS collection. The Vacation movies were one of my favorite escapes and Randy was such an integral part of that.

One day in the early 90's I was doing a flower arrangement at a golf course in north LA County , Valencia CA. I heard someone behind me that said "that is great, I like that, really nice" I turned around and there is Randy Quaid checking out my work. He had that stereotypical look of his nodding his head with that smile. That really made my day, what a genuine guy. Seemed so nice. He looked like he was right out of a vacation movie in his gold garb. Fit him so good. A pink polo shirt and white patterned pants. Just hilarious.
