@stevemiller9135Ай бұрын
Like most people, you've been conned. You don't own your property. You will also realize that you weren't taught anything useful in school. Real Estate is only what sits on top of the land. When you went to the bank for a home loan, they gave you money for a home, not the land underneath the home. Naturally you think that it's a package deal, but it's not. The banks are in on the entire con. After you're done paying for 30 years, the bank will hand you a Warranty Deed. In the deed, it will refer to you as "occupant" or "tenant." Do those terms equate to landowner? Aren't those terms describing someone who rents? You bet! Did the bank disclose that information to you upon closing the deal? Hell no! That is considered non-disclosure and fraud. What fool in their right mind would pay for 30 years to own ONLY the home? The land is owned by the State! Another thing the bank never disclosed. The truth is, you only have "right of use" as long as you keep paying the bank and your taxes. There's another piece of information that the bank failed to disclose. To truly OWN land you must possess what's known as "Allodial Title." Or you must have a Grant Deed with the original Land Patent number. Anything else is worthless paper. Just like the fiat currency in your pocket. Don't try to go to court and sue the bank. The courts are in on the con as well. You see, a court IS a BANK. Court isn't about justice, it's all about $$$! You also don't own your car. That's yet another con. You don't own your children either. Another con. Ever notice on all of your legal documents, bills, licenses, etc., your name appears in all CAPS? That is yet another con job! That is known as your "legal fiction." That is not your given birth name from your parents. That is basically your slave name. Debt slave to be precise. That is yet another con that was done to you at birth. That con was the inception of the Birth Certificate back in 1933. That's where they changed your name to all CAPS without your consent or knowledge. I could go on all day about the endless cons. Look into it.

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Hey Pat. I am a longshoreman at port Newark. I am the “average American person”. Please mention that these shipping companies are not American companies. These companies charging $30,000 for a full container, an increase from $6,000 per container just a few weeks ago. In just a short time, they went from 6K, to 18K, then 24K and now $30,000. They made/make insane profits. What we doing over here? Backing foreign companies over the American middles class workers. While everyone was on zoom during the pandemic. We got up. Left our families. Went to work. Kept the the world running. Anything you buy comes through the ports. Shouldn’t we be compensated? Shouldn’t our jobs be protected by not having computers do our jobs. Ask ports that are semi automated. They cant do anywhere near the moves that we do. We are the American middle class. The money we make goes back into our economy. The shipping companies do not. You always seem to have the the middle class guys back. Hopefully you have ours. Love the show by the way.

This strike is another one of those situations where Union leadership is leading the rank and file down a path where management will look like the good guy in the deal. Asking for zero automation and an almost 70% raise over 4 years is absolutely ridiculous.
@beddythecorgi4269Ай бұрын
Fact check yourself. It's 70% over almost double the time. That would put them on par with the men on the west coast. This is real economics. Workers who actually have leverage and a desired service ask for market rate. This is how the market corrects itself by allowing workers to take advantage of a strong demand. Funny how folks always are in favor of market forces when it's in favor of the rich. Lowering wages when unemployment is high. Well dude this is the scenario we're the unemployment is low and wages need to go up. These men are asking to be brought up to living wage. 130k would be the income you need for a 400k house which is probably a small modest house in a east coast major Port city.
@PL-JoyАй бұрын
I think the zero automation is the issue, you can bet they will want 100% automation after this strike.

@@beddythecorgi4269 boom put them facts on them. Let’s just take Providence RI. The average cost for a home is $545,000. That’s AVERAGE as of a couple months ago. Let’s take another port city where you say it’d be cheaper to live. Norfolk Va. average home price $310,000. That puts their mortgage payment at what $2,000 a month on the low end. Now how much is gas? Average in RI has been $3.63 for the year so far. In Norfolk not much better $3.62 for the year. What are these prices going to be with inflation in 6 years time? I bet close to double that. These workers are asking for a wage that in 6 years would equate to $120,000 a year. After the bs taxes that gets them a take home pay of $80 grand Not to mention money coming out for insurance for their families, retirement. But let’s just say $80,000. $1538 and some change per week. $6153 give or take per month. Mortgage is $2000 per month. Utilities $400 per month if not more Internet and phones $400 per month Gas $ 300 per month Groceries $2000 per month $4,700 per month just to survive. So you have $360 per week to take your family out to dinner, to save money for your kids college, to buy new work clothes or school clothes for your kids, to save up for a vacation for your family. It’s absolute insanity MORE UNIONS AND WORKERS SHOULD BE ASKING FOR THIS!
@heatherhall7899Ай бұрын
I completely agree. And it this caused shortages and more inflation, I'm going to have zero sympathy for the dockworkers. There should be laws preventing employees in critical industries from striking.
@statusquorejectАй бұрын
@beddythecorgi4269 Fact check yourself. They are asking to be paid what the dock workers in LA specifically make, but the ports in LA do 3-4x's more volume of shipments. Also you can't compare a salary from one date to another, that's like comparing apples to oranges. Furthermore in Commiefornia what the port workers make is below a living wage because of the cost of living in Commiefornia is much higher. I live in Commiefornia. The union boss I extremely corrupt and this is just a scam. Every single one those workers deserve to be replaced by robots.

If someone has a spending habit and racks up personal debt via credit cards and auto loans, and decides hellofresh is cheaper than the grocery store for “reasons”, that person has a far different conceptualization of the aforementioned descriptors than someone who doesn’t saddle themselves with debt and does meal planning. Furthermore, attempts to define it specifically result in a wage that no one would consider livable. Yes there is. Everyone who has been stiffed for a raise while the ceo class gave itself 3000% raise over the last decades should be on thier side. Do the math. Average home is 400k. These men live in major port cities where 400k barely gets you an old rancher 3b/2b if even. Isn't the whole point of MAGA to return to where a working wage is livable. To afford a 400k house today you need to make about 130k. These men make 80k or 20% less than the west coast. So if they get this raise to the 70% in 6 years what will homes cost in 6 years? They will barely be keeping afloat. Sorry but this is exactly the free market. These men have an indemand job. It's already been automated about as far as it can go. If you actually believe in the free market it shouldn't be a crisis only when workers have the upper hand. Like who says it's a crisis when unemployment is high and the elites are giving themselves decades of 3000% raises. Funny it's only a problem when it's the poor asking not to drown.
