That was my intuitive thought. I know not a single person that is assertive, outgoing and physically fit that has actual depression. As some have said, a person can be depressed about a tragic event but that's not something that requires medication.

This man has demonstrated his mental illness quite transparently for years; the rage, the blaming, the inability to accept responsibility for anything, the projection, the twisted family dynamic, the abusive father, the bizarre and inappropriate "humor". I got a theology and theatre studies doubel major (i know right?) , lost my career in the arts because I wouldn't take the needle during that whole thing; figured my industry was truly unsalvageble after that, there was always scant security to begin with..Was working in the theatre one week they wouldn't let me in the building the next. I have a 4 month old kid, in the next five years I'm opening my own sandwich shop. Eating shit at the call centre and teaching other lost souls to do so, right now is keeping the kid fed and the family afloat...im in a tiny city in the south of ireland, options are limited for now. long term, I'm thinking of a hospital chaplin - civil servant position in ireland, great security, good pension, and so forth.. our last hospital chaplin got stabbed in the face but hey gotta take the crooked with the straights. Am I right fellas? Pray for me. And for my kid. And wife.
