Candice wasn’t a draw. Her subs and viewers were the lowest out of all the hosts they have. They tried to revamp her show on several occasions and tried to get her in back stage on several occasions and it never meshed. Take it from a subscriber myself and understand they wanted crowder to replace her and then that went sideways she never fit in and never brought the revenue they thought.

He surprisingly made a couple of good points, even if some are hypocritical. His opinions are refreshing here (and in one video of his previous visit) because he gets responses from PBD, they're such different takes from everyone else that he brings up details you wouldn't consider, and even if PBD offers a different opinion, sometimes dismantling Cuomo's position, his point isn't necessarily moot. Tom agrees the Daily Wire as a company made a tactical move, even if PBD is right to think the damage to their street-cred is a massive loss. Both points are true.

Every action that DW, Ben, Jeremy and everyone else has taken with Candace has and will shot DW because ultimately Candace was right. This gag order however does nothing except hurt the DW far more than is does Candace and hurts them more than if the debate had gone ahead as it is a clear display that they have something to hide. So it is lose lose lose for the DW. Ben should have been a man and handled this situation with Candace in house and with more respect. The integrity of the platform is now gone and good for Candace for exposing them. I'm glad i never subscribed. Hopefully Matt Walsh sees sense once his contract is up and leaves this anti free speech and anti Christian platform.

Most legal contracts have clauses that go into effect only under specific circumstances. Sounds to me like the lawyers jumped in and said “Oh no you don’t!” when the debate issue started. I don’t think Candace is as smart as she thinks she is, I don’t think Ben acted professionally. I don’t think Candace should have jumped at the bait Ben threw at her. I would respect both a lot more if they had shaken hands and Candace had walked quietly away. She appeared to have wanted this separation as much as the DW did. She wouldn’t have shouted “I’m free!” if she didn’t. So go on with your bad self and do whatever it is you want to do. IMO that would have been the best, most professional way to handle the situation. This happens in business and politics every day.

I think Cuomo is right in what he's saying about why the Daily Wire is shutting up Candace. Shapiro was so confident in his position that he couldn't read the room. I think he would've debated Candace but the Daily Wire wanted to protect itself. I think think they knew people would likely side with Candace or against Shapiro and the Daily Wire would lose.
