Thanks for this video Pat! I started a local history podcast during Covid. I took it seriously and used nearly every waking hour after my day job to grow it. It evolved from audio only history pods to interviews to sponsored video series. I quit my day job in 2022 and have been making a living off of a podcast based around a tourist town with a population of ~50,000. They key is consistency.

As a late comer to the PBD podcast, I watch daily now. I have a playlist of your videos that I am taking notes on. I'm retired and disabled. I loved this video! The best part was the bit about remembering to be humble. Every time I turn my focus away from God and think I am the man, I find myself thinking I want to turn back to HIM and focus on His purpose in my life. I want my focus to be more on HIM and what HE wants to plug me into. I believe His plan for me is bigger than anything I could ever think of for myself. AND I THINK BIGGER than most I know. Who else wants God to put him or her into HIS game? Sorry in advance if I come across as too strong - especially in this era.

Ha, I love this clip. I have a small, by American standards , audience of 70k followers in New Zealand. I speak on a niche I know well and an area I'm actively interested in. My focus is getting info out at this stage, it's not a money thing driving me. Hard to compete against someone who does it without pay, the reward is internally driven. I've always envisioned I would interview others in the field. Basically I want to talk to them and I speak their language. I haven't done this yet but I know I will. I laughed so hard at your description of your first videos, it reminded me of myself. I have clips with over a million views now but I still look at the early ones with a few hundred and laugh about it and the look on my face back then. Thanks for touching on this subject again, much appreciated.

All I knew of Mr. PBD was a few shorts on KZbin it wasn't until the recent podcast of AI. I have learned so much so quickly and am still replaying and reviewing. Now this podcast.
