We could give each other the silent treatment for over a month though we slept in the same room. We got close in my mid 20s and her late 20s. Now, everything that happens, she's the 1st person I want to tell. We live in different cities in my country, but we can talk for about 4hrs at a time. I tell her everything!!! Your family doesn't necessarily consist of people you're related to. I have brothers and sisters. I'm financially successful today because I don't associate with any of them. I don't associate with 99.9% of those related to me and I'm the better for it. The family I have consists of the few people I have chosen to have in my life and none are related to me.
