The L4D2 Glock is actually a hybrid, having the lower of a 26, and the upper of a 17. They also re-used the model for CS:GO, which makes it sillier given that it's supposed to be a Glock 18.

oddly enough, aside from that the other traits of the original Glock model from L4D2/CSGO are now standard features on 5th gen Glocks, nearly six years later: ambi slide release, FDE frame, and rounded slide at muzzle end

Actually, TFC uses the glock model but it has a suppressor attached to it. "The Team Fortress Classic Tranquilizer Gun view model is the unused "silenced" Glock-17 view model from Half-Life. The silenced variant is used by the female assassin, however, when dropped it functions as a normal pistol, giving 9MM ammunition to the player." Taken from the wiki

I think on the Glock from counter strike you could of mention that the 3 rounds burst mode is a function that doesn't existe on the real life counter part of any Glock, maybe at the exception of the real life glock 18 witch has a full automatic mode. Beside that it was still a great video to watch !

CS2 Glock is the only relatively accurate one Valve has made, and even then it has no real world equivalent model. It's a combination of traits from different Glocks.

The Glock in CSGO has so many things wrong with it that it's kind of crazy no one at Valve thought to correct any of these mistakes (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about anything). Despite being called the Glock 18, the CSGO Glock is not fully automatic. A 3 round burst Glock has never been produced. The standard magazine of the Glock 18 holds 19 rounds, not 20. The grip is too small and the frame does not resemble that of Glock 18, rather the CSGO model more closely resembles a compact or sub-compact Glock, such as the Glock 26. Finally, when switching between "full auto" and "burst fire" firing modes, the "i" icon on the HUD is not correctly centered and shifts left and right when selecting the fire mode.

Yeah the burst fire mechanic is fictional. I guess the nearest reality would be to say that a glock 18 can be full auto but for control you would fire it in bursts. Full auto pistols don't really do a good job of hitting anything unless you keep it to short bursts.

I thought you were going to mention how csgo's glock doesn't actually exist since it's an 18 with a 26 size and so on, and how css and cs1.6 glocks shouldn't really have a burst mode because they supposedly aren't 18 but 17 and 19, and how a glock 18 actually doesn't have a burst mode but instead a single fire and fully automatic mode. So all in all your video was way too short and not in depth enough, I hoped much more detail about glocks. This video in it's current form even feels pointless because there's no real substance, it's just: these valve games have a glock in them - they do [x] dmg, here's what the game calls them, look at them for 5 minutes. And I'm sorry but it feels like you've added no substance or insight of your own, it's like you've literally read some wiki entry and made it into a youtube video. Please I urge you to give us more of your personal insight or something more researched.

I used to also have a desaturated and or darkened and or blurred background on all thumbnails but I think a cleaner approach works actually better for clicks.
