Im feeling the same, super depressed. After all my biggest hobby for the past 13 years dead. Everyday there is a community fix and the night after Valve gets rid of it with a new update. They wanna kill bhop intentionally, it's over. Bet you they will disable config completely within the next two months. I'm waiting two weeks and then selling my whole inv probably.. Feels bad man :(

I know that I am a minority here, nevertheless, I am going to disagree. Why should you be able to have an advantage at the game (e.g.: doing long jumps, bunny hop'ing, etc) with scripts or binds comparing with a new/fresh player without any additional configs? I don't think is fair to go to matchmaking and need to use specific configs or else I would be in an disadvantage.

I disagree. Everyone can learn how to use the config, it's only a matter of effort put in and some brains. It was fair because it was accessible for everyone, no fancy and expensive hardware needed, just some hours of reading and trying out. Part of getting good was learning basic alias coding and stuff. It was part of the journey, part of getting good. Source was so successful because it was always customizable, so was Elder Scrolls btw. and basically all games with a console and high customizability were super successful... They are deleting the soul and the backbone of Counter Strikes success with taking away this option. There is still no mod support and community servers are dead as well btw. They could have integrated a cheat protected makro function in the UI or just fix the subtick default jump in the first place, but instead they removed the little that was left from Source movement. Movement was at least 50% of the reason why Source engine always felt better than all other game engine for fps game. They completely killed source with that, the game is becoming souless and there are not many reasons left to prefer CS over Valorant or Shroud's new game. Only thing keeping the game alive right now is skins and people sticking to it because they dont want to lose their life savings, but this wont last for much longer. Skin market dropped already after the update btw, that's all one needs to know about the long run effects. The market always knows best.

Default movement is dog shit and new players won’t be able to do things like long jumps or bhops consistently regardless if they have custom binds or configs or not, having configs to make movement cleaner doesn’t change the fact that you still need to be good at movement to utilise it lol

@@Sr7Sr7Sr7 considering they were well aware of edgebug and when it got removed by accident and made sure to impliment it back in. they udnerstand its severity and alot of legends from CS are made from movement. phoon LOLYOU ropz to a degree. also its not an exploit, bhop is in pretty much every source game on the market. Apex, Titanfall, GMOD, all the previous CS's Half Lifes. Its a core part of there games feeling.

They’ve never said a word about bhopping being against their idea of CS, bhopping being dogshit is just a side effect of their poorly implemented system. People also desubticked their WASD for a while, because the game frequently overshoots or undershoots your key press lengths.

Noone can bhop on default settings, it is technically not possible since subtick. It's not that we like to use a line of code, there is just no way around it. Nothing to do with skill but with Valve fucking up the default movement settings.

AD strafing is not even that powerful in CS due to tagging. And when it comes to counterstrafing, the way it works is you become accurate after getting bellow 34% of maximum speed with the given weapon so, you don't even need to fully stop or do counterstrafing perfectly.

The only "BIND" is making it so that every time you scroll each scroll is inputting jump and also removing that input so that sub tick doesn't just continue sending jump to the server causing horrible consistency...man just stick to level 2 faceit lobbies you are dented
