ValvoMax: Oil Change System Drain Valve

Great tip from you about pulling the drain plug and replacing it with the Valvomax! Normally, I would just drain the oil entirely and then install the Valvomax.

Ya that's what I should have done but wanted to show the valvomax in use for the video vs waiting another 3,000 miles to make the video with it 😂

You definitely know how to handle a sloppy hole! I installed one of these on my car and it makes life easy. They have an adapter that screws onto any Warren Petroleum bottle (SuperTech, Kirkland, a ton of others) that makes it totally closed loop and mess free. ValvoMax makes a great product.

lol a sloppy hole it was! But now that they're installed, all future oil changes are going to be a BREEZE!! So glad I did this, even though they're pricey. They're worth saving up for. Do you have a link to the adapter you're mentioning?

Such a cool product. Do you know how often we would need to replace the washer /gasket?

Well I've had it for a year or so, and everything still looks good. No leaks and haven't had to change the gasket.

Once you drain the oil, take the ValvoMax off. How much leftover oil comes out? The threads look like they extend into the oil pan. So, maybe a cup of old oil stays in the pan?

Interesting take. But I don't think it leaves behind a cup of oil, the drain plug is the same length as the original drain plug.

I brought one for my 2008 lexus gs350, the problem was the drain plug thread is too big for my oil pan and doesn't fit, dont wanna strip by oil pan

You might have gotten the wrong thread size or they don't make one exactly for your vehicle.
