The ballas actually do go for CJ.They were circling the bike probably because they had no path to follow on the runway.Also,if you get to the part where they go after Sweet,you will see the 2 ballas just sitting on foot right where that small cutscene ends so i guess the game just removes their car so they won't follow you until you reach the skate park

If Ballas's car is destroyed and there's other cars nearby, the driver will take that car and chase after you with it. Without the passenger however. If you kill the passenger. The driver would just get out and start shooting you instead.

I fully believe because of the checkpoint system in 5, we get the strict rules compared to any other games. If there were no checkpoints to have to hit you'd have much more leeway to do the mission how you want

Yep, the older games including 4 gave you an adjective and how you would complete the adjective was up to you. It wasn't scripted like GTA 5 missions where you're constantly being escorted on a linear routine.

Alright, to answer the first question, I watched Crazy4Games play GTA San Andreas with the Chaos% mod, and in the first mission while the Ballas car was chasing Crazy, he got the Teleport To A Secret Place effect, which teleports you to Area 69. The Ballas car teleported all the way over there.

An extra not discovered coversation In GTA4 In the mission Paper trail.... If u destroy the other chopper and just before landing u drown Little Jacob and get on the road , Niko will call United Liberty Paper and say that " i have destroyed the chopper but we lost little jacob" , and then the dialogues on the call really change I mean no one would have done this thing but Rockstar added these dialogues!!!

That first one is programmed that way if the rest of the videos like that, that's why because the developers want the car to circle the bike. Hence why the car stops Infront of you so you wreck except the circling would be less dramatic if you were on the bike lol. As you can see he's still somewhat aiming his gun towards you which means he's aiming for you but the car chase is aiming for the BMX if you get what I'm saying. so if you do decide to beat off the path the car chases you until you decide to finish the mission cj.

The reason why it looks like he's aiming elsewhere is because ai was still in it's infancy so basically back then that's about as real as it got for ai. Although some developers were ahead of time and some companies weren't just depends on the game.
