This chemistry is epic. I honestly fell in love with them,the way they look each other,smile,act. Magic love story, from dark moments someone can do for the once they love to the most pure thing ever. I know they are not together in real life anymore,but I will always ship them cause I felt everything,every smile,every pain,tear,fear,hope,immensely love,sacrifice,selfish things,everything. I think his flashbacks with Katherine are just as important to their relationship because they show the kind of person he was before he became a vampire. Damon Salvatore x Delena shipper forever. This is probably my most ever favorite dance sequence of a fictional couple. Glad they ended up together at least in reel life if not in real life- thanks to Julie Plec. I remember DM'ing the writers for scene requests, doing trends on Twitter and what not during a dark part of my life. These two had some incredible rarely seen chemistry. Also Damon's love for Elena is everything. ❤

My marriage with my husband has the same kind of intensity as this relationship. Though we're both from broken, abusive homes and healing one another together. I know the kind of bond you had with your husband. It also reflects the poem "How do I love thee" where it says when you inhale, I exhale. It's a closeness nobody can explain to an outsider. You become part of one another and the world around you doesn't matter anymore. So I won't send you an average "sorry" or "I know he's in a better place" and all the common phrases you hear. None of that makes up or even slightly compares to a healing of excruciating pain in your heart. So strong you feel like your heart will literally explode and you struggle to breathe. I'm just gonna say that I'm glad you two had that kind of love! And I can promise you he would never take back a moment of it even now! I've been brought back to life before and my only concern while mentally gone was "is my husband safe?" So I know the love stays there.. even through death itself! I hope you've found some peace by now with the situation. It's not right what happened to him, but I'm never sorry when couples truly find each other :)
