@@Ae7herium Well Harley always had the twintails, but the arkham game appearance is partly based on Jeanette, yes. static.wikia.nocookie.net/whitewolf/images/7/7d/HarleyConcept.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20200824125258 this comes from rocksteady concept art. They were using Jeanette as a reference. Her look in the arkham games in turn inspired her modern comic looks. Altho the whole harleen quinzel/harley quinn dichotomy might be what inspired the specific looks of therese/jeanette's looks. No source for that, but seems likely, considering harley had the twintails and harleen always looked more prim and proper, the way therese does. EDIT: The image they used for reference is from the cover of VTMB I believe.

I've noticed a high percentage of famous youtubers being extremely smart and educated people. Pewdiepie went to college to be an engineer before dropping out, Markiplier is a bio-engineer, Cdawgva and Gigguk are both mechanical engineers, the list just goes on and on. It's kind of insane.

The history of Troika Games and VtM: Bloodlines is somewhat tragic. Bloodlines was the last game they ever released, and quite frankly, they released it unfinished because they just... ran out of money. There's a large amount of unimplemented content and unused assets in the game, which unofficial patches have done some work to restore. It is very much a game worth your time, but as Sseth said, *do not* do Nosferatu or Malkavian for your first playthrough. The Nosferatu cuts you off from many quests and makes it so you need to sneak around to avoid committing constant Masquerade breaches, and the Malkavians literally have plot spoilers whispered into their brains.

I fight this comment everywhere I see it. Imo the only way to get the authentic malkavian experience is to use them for your first playthrough. All the strange dialogue, the obfuscate discipline turning a lot of janky fights into cool little stealth sections, and most of all the voices of madness in your brain. Whispering things that warp your perception of who your talking to and making you question their intentions even further. At least in my case, i didn't trust the voices half the time, so they added more mysteries than they solve, and just got me that much more invested in listening closely so I wouldn't miss anything. Overall play whatever class you want. Except that i still agree nosferatu is the "pro" class you shouldn't play for a first run, malkavian would be my suggestion for a first run. I think the only problem is that players get warded off of picking them because potential spoilers, and if they do play malk anyways, they're overly listening for answers assuming the voices are always right. TLDR - Malkavians best class. If you wanna play one, don't think you HAVE to play through with another class first. You're gonna have a great time.

Malks are great, and to be fair the plot spoilers aren't so obvious that it's blaring in your face, so the cool foreshadowing won't be totally lost on you, but mostly I recommend that if you are going to play a second time, you start right after while the plot is still in your head, because the second time I played... Oh boy. Malks

When I did my first run I did the questionary option to create my character and ended up rolling a Malkavian, so I just rolled with it. Never regreted it.

There's one small inaccuracy in Sseth's video. When Cain murdered his brother originally, he got cursed to wander the Earth like in the Bible, the main divergence point between the game and the bible comes after that. God sends Angels to Cain 3 times to ask him to repent for the murder, and each time he says no so each vampire weakness is an individual curse(weakness to sunlight, needing blood, siring new vampires).

As someone else said, Troika Games has a tragic tale. But they did make some fantastic games. Sseth made a video on their other game, Arcanum. It's worth a watch. Would love to see a stream of Bloodlines and Arcanum. Get the GOG version for both in case we get that, the Steam version of Bloodlines doesn't come with the patch for fixing up the game. Also, yes, you can drink rat blood. Bloodlines is short enough to where it wouldn't be hard to beat it on stream at least.
