I was onboard 16614 Coimbatore - Rajkot weekly Express, it was hauled by WAP 4 from CBE to GTL and the link got changed at Guntakal junction from Electric to Diesel
13266T + 14576R GTL WDG 3A took charge from Guntakal and Chennai Egmore - Mumbai Mail was on adjacent platform with Erode WAP 7
Enjoy the crazy smoke released by Alco twins and see how it engulfing the opposite track!!

No bro if you compare electric loco and diseil loco . Actually diseil will won because as compared to electric loco there are heavy to electric loco . The diseil loco is old memories for all loco pilot in Indian railways. Because they still remove Alcoa loco remove in India railways.

Tbh I prefer Electric Locomotives more than Diesel. Even though Diesel engines are my favourites but they cause so much air pollution which is why they must be replaced. I will miss them though 😔

Bro you both are right infact in some years diesel locomotives are going to ban because of same reason air pollution but electric loco have more horse power as compared to diesel but the main problem for which electric locos are hated by most of the rail fans is that they dont make that much of the noise as compared to diesel locomotives

I am lucky to say that I have enjoyed in all 5 type of locomotives. Metergauge Steam and diesel locomotives. Braudgauge steam and diesel locomotives, and elecric Locomotives. The sounds, horn and sound of track was very different in every locoomotives
