Absolutely beautiful and done with so much respect and reverence for her. She would have been mind-blown by what can be done today in the art world.

I must say, I really enjoyed that. It's good to see how the world of Art and retail are taking advantage of the advances of technology such as 3D printing but is still finished in a traditional hand finished style.

Went to this exhibition back in 2018 and I still think about it a lot. Taking photos was prohibited (and I'm crap at being sneaky with my camera) but I remember her amazing wardrobe (my husband pointed out some faded cigarette burns on one of her skirts).

I wonder how Frida would've felt if she knew how much the world would fall in love with her; how much of an inspiration and an icon she would be to so many artists, especially female artists, through the generations. I have this image in my head of her grasping her cane with one hand with the other over her heart standing as tall as she could fighting through the pain with a smile on her face and a single tear on her cheek, her hair full of flowers with a stunning long skirt, white shirt, bulky turquoise jewelry on neck and fingers with a colorful wrap around her shoulders. What about you all?

Beautiful job, I just don't understand the Spanish guitar music for a Mexican themed video. It's so confusing to me, how hard is it to understand that Spanish music is not Mexican?

I wish more people also celebrated her political aspirations and views, you can not fully understand her or her work and clothing choices without acknowledging all layers of her identity ( culture, politics, sexuality, etc.). Frida was very out spoken about politics, hell she changed her birthday to align with the Mexican Revolution to be associated as a revolutionary woman; its a core part of her work. She was a proud high ranking member of the Mexican communist party in favor of anti imperialism, fierce proponent against capitalism, and hated (her words) anglo america for their disparaging views on indigenous people and Latin America.
