The rain finally stopped long enough and Big Nick was able to come over after work to work on 'Lil Blue II. Hopefully, when Big Nick is done, Blue will be good as new...or at least running better. lol

90% of these years 03 - 08 +-.. p0300 or ect. if the injector is bad.. it needs the injector rail harness...if you catch it before it ruins the injector.. good. it melts at the big connector, injector side by the exhaust pipe.. and coil pack..

I was wondering how long it would take him to realize that the injectors needed to to be secured to the rail and installed as an assembly, "installation is the reverse of disassembly."

I would have replaced the intake gasket and valve cover. As once you get it that far. It's an extra 1 hr of work...As that intake gasket is notorious for leaking coolant on the driver side end of the intake..

I went that far and was like, fuck it, new head gaskets and see if they’re warped.

I noticed the intake lying upside down. The first time I removed it I did the same. One of the metal bolt spacers fell out and it took me an hour to find it. Just trying to save y’all some time and aggravation.

2003 Caravan Getting engine codes of misfires , rich running . shaking van , poor idle & acceleration. After having replaced wires , plugs, coil, o2 sensor, deep clean of injectors the problem remains. 150K miles always driven gently. No compression test yet, You think the injector harness could be bad? If able to give any ideas much appreciate good day.

@@shaew837 I dont know if you re asking about the injector harness but the wires near the ignition coil were ALL melted touching each other shorting one another. 10 cents worth of electrical tape fixed what cost $ 1200 in probably unnecessary parts. If you own a caravan , Check those ! What a catastrophe..

melting wires i had to put electric tape almost all the wire harness but i will buy a new one in the future its only 100 dollars on amazon you can find it

Yes.. I had to rebuild the whole thing. As a new one is $350.00... So I bought automotive wiring 10 feet of each color. A box of new pins..Then punch the old pins out. Making sure the colors and length matched the old ones...So they can only go in one way. Use a roll of Automotive Tesa tape. As it's high heat resistant..And stays stuck. As it's oil and gas resistant as well...I did the whole harness from one side of the engine to the other...Takes about 3 hours to make one. Once you figure out how the pins come out. As you need the connector ends..

camera man asks the mechanique: "what does an injector actually do?".... answer was not wrong but quieted the gallery with obfuscative jargon...Here's a better answer I hope...An injector is an electrically triggered spray/mist gun taking as input a liquid fuel, and outputting a fine mist which mixes readily with air....a vapour
