I had never heard about those rechargeable (and portable) water pumps and I'm so glad I stumbled across because I've been out with the van for the first time last weekend and I was SOOO annoyed that I didn't have a sink and running water and so on! So I'm now going to buy the IKEA kitchen unit and the super water pump! Yayyyy!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Great job! You could make a video on time management, how you organize your time to work from home, shop for supplies and the items to update your van, cook fantastic food, work on making your van travel comfy, and still have time to take your van on weekend adventures. Have you tried blocks of ice in your cooler, I was able to get them at various grocery stores on my trip to Salt Spring in July.

Hi. I first saw your video on the "Exploring Alternatives" channel. I will be retiring soon and have been following the Tiny homes movement for many years. Do you mind my asking how much you paid to have this built? I'm curious why you would not go with a Tankless water heater. I have a condo in Florida. I think I have a 40 gallon tank in my home. I run out of hot water when I try to take a bath!! My kitchen would be large too. Right now my kitchen is small and I don't like the layout at all. I really like your home. Good luck in it!!!
@crystalh14023 жыл бұрын

I can't decide which side to put the kitchen on. i figure if it looks nice it, it should Look good on either side. I am thinking of a 3rd option, putting a fridge on the right of the sliding door (as entering), right behind the passenger door - to use as a foot rest.
@myBIGtinyhouselife2 жыл бұрын
I've considered that as well. I'd have to either move the kitchenette to the other opposite wall or make the seating area smaller though. Lots of options, ☺️.

Hi! I’ll eventually bracket it to the wall once I’m done with insulation, etc. But for now it’s really quite sturdy with the multiple tie-downs I’ve used.
