Van Camping on the Isle of Wight | Van Life it ain't | Not a vegan | VW T4 | Camping with a dog

Bramblehead and I jump in out trusty old VW T4 Campervan to dip our toe into van life. Now the kids are getting older we can start enjoying some time together.
We have some trips in mind, wild camping will still be my main content but there will be some trips with my good lady for good measure, as she doesn't like tents.
We sampled some of the local tourist spots, the Garlic Farm and Alum Bay Battery. Took on some lovely walks with the pooch.
The Isle of Wight is a great place to visit and the Par4night app worked well.

We have a fort much like that one maintained as a museum/tourist attraction in a nearby city [Kingston, Ontario, Canada] built to intimidate the Yanks in the early 19thC. I see you was at the Garlic Farm, shame you didn't walk out the back of the farm, we were out and about in IoW and visited the same place last year. The Sun Flowers field was a sight to behold. In the rocket museum, there's a photo of a RAF guy twiddling knobs on a control panel, and I think that's my dad. He loved the IOW because as a kid he would come down from north London with the Boys Brigade and camp outside Bembridge.

Its nice to see some places on the IOW I've been to. We camped on the IOW 3 times between 2010-2015 at white something campsite just off beeper shute? Looks like you two had a great time.
