I really like oil pastels. I am not very good with them, but I like to play around with them. The soft pastels are really nice. I like them a lot better for their easiness to use. They don't bother me like they do some people. You got lots of good tools to use with them. Sennelier is really creamy. I use little makeup sponges and brushes to work with them. And paper towels can help blend it too. The art piece is really great. Thanks for sharing!

Which pastels do you have? I know Sennelier are pricey but are there any you recommend with a similar creamy texture? My goal is to make a portrait but I worry I will loose patience before I’m done 😅I’ve picked up random tools for art and makeup sponges is one of them, I will have to dig them out. When I saw that there were tools with those pastels I felt if I didn’t get it I would regret it. The extenders/ grips is definitely going to come in handy when the pastels get smaller.

Peace and love, you can use a big fluffy brush to remove the pastel flakes, from your art.
