Can't believe it's been this long to have not found you. I'm going to be 55 this month and have been playing since I was 12 years old and the mighty Van Halen and Eddie has and always WILL BE the reason that I picked up playing the electric guitar. You my brother, are easily the EXACT and PERFECT emulation of Eddie's guitar playing. I've played Van Halen songs for all these years and I can say with 100% honesty and certainty that I have NEVER heard ANYONE (besides you) to be able to play "I'm the one" or "Eruption" as EVH did... I've played or should I say attempted to play Eruption all of these 40+ years and have NEVER heard ANYONE closer than dare I say EVH himself my friend... He himself would be amazed ❤🎸 I've seen some comments from people saying this and that ridiculous bullshit on something that they HAVE to criticize you about or to simply have to hide their complete embarrassment of their own lack of commitment to practice to be able to play like this... I give credit where credit is due... You my friend are the BEST... and like EVH himself, you inspire me just as he did all these years later in my life to practice to be able to play like that... I don't comment on many videos but i *MUST* say I am a fan of Van Halen and I am a fan of yours: This is not an easy song to play. You can tell if someone has it right by hearing the intro -- most don't even come close on the triplet feel but you definitely have nailed it. I noticed in your repertoire that you actually do steal some styles. First, respect to the fact that you wear a cross on your left wrist to give respect to Yngwie. Dude, that is siiiiick! I’ve been trying to play this song for 30 years. Your pick hand is incredible in that your able to get that bouncy swing rhythm in the verse. That’s probably the last difficult picking to play clean. I love this song version gives me the same high as the first time I heard the original sound. Great job!
