I saw them in pocatello idaho on the same tour and the EXACT same thing happened, I've also heard SEVERAL other people say they saw the same "quarter incedent" in other cities on that tour. it was fake as hell, it was Dave's way of getting the crowd to not throw shit lol

I was at this show. They played at the fairly new Thomas and Mack Center on the UNLV campus. Someone had somehow lowered themselves from the roof and painted a huge VH on the front of the building a week prior to the show. Anyway, Roth was drunk and passed out off to the side behind the drum riser for one and a half to two songs early in the set. They played instrumentals of the songs he was missing. You could tell the end was near. As a matter of fact I remember bringing a pair of binoculars and basically watched Ed and AL. I caught 5-6 shows on that tour and couldn't get over Dave's BS sword demo and him just going thru the motions. The coin thing was one of his lines at every show. Hey you better stop ----- or I'll fuk your girl friend, or the next SOB that hits me with a coin I'll kick your ass Blah,blah...he did it to get the crowd going.

No, but it looks like someone had taped the entire show. Not saying he didn't get hit by the object. All I remember is was a mess when the show started, yet like many other times I'd see him in the same condition, he seems to sober up to get through the show. As tight as the band was for that tour, Dave was a disappointment. My two cents.

JulietsMan He sped up a lot back in the day, so did Moon on a lot of album tracks though. He's much better now, but probably is playing to a click. I always thought Al was terribly underrated as a drummer. It was still the early days here, they aren't even 30 years old here. Hahahaha.
