I'm still getting choked up about it. Eddie was a huge part of my life for 42 years. When I heard about it my wife came into my home office and just held me like I'd lost a close brother, or best friend. I am very lucky to have a wonderful wife who fully understands. Later she said that she had not seen me cry like that since my Dad passed in '96. I so hope that Eddie is in a beautiful place without pain and addiction. With his Dad and Mom. God Bless the best friend I ever had that I never met...

This music inspire me.... I know how to play on piano..... sometime ago, I worked in a company that had a piano in the hall. Someone told me it belongs to the president and some days in a year he surprised the employee with some song. Everyday I saw that piano, and thought with myself to perform right now suddenly.... Ok. In my last day working in this company I decided to go there and play, no matter whatafuck the president can think.... So, at the end of day, 17h I went there, and played Right Now.... that was an event... everybody went to the loob to see how is playing.... and I see the president, Mr. Edson with a large smile watching me playing.... it was my last day working at Amil, but I think a lot of people still remember that day. Proud to share some smile to everybody there....

one thing i learned from an EVH Interview was that he puts everything on the amp at max and he never really used a distortion pedal and thats how i get his tone from my amp

- Your open strings sound obviously distorted, but yet muddless and with an even sound between them... If you use a limiter in the chain, VOX really kicks ass! - Also, i found AMAZING the way you get those harmonic hammerons without "breaking" your sound with "jerky stuff"... - I noticed that, when using your volume knob, you get the FULL range of the "Brown sound", meaning: You get almost a CLEAN sound at the very end, but yet the sound is ALL there. I think you use your amp distortion, since ALL the pedalboards i´ve used (and even with a noise reductor!) affect the delivery, and low volume sounds get mooshy and uneven. (3 of 3)
