I really enjoyed the video guys and all the inside Eddie and Dimebag stories!!! Nick has always struck me as such a genuinely nice person. I have seen many of his Sweetwater videos and he always comes across as a cool dude. I especially enjoyed the ones he did with Ben Eller. I also bought those first two Grim Reaper albums as a teen back in the day. Thanks Jeff for all the great interviews and for continuing to fly the flag for The Mighty Van Halen and King Edward!

Passing by that Ralph’s again, Ventura Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon. Cool when that happens while I’m listening to one of your interviews, Jeff. Shoot, I’m gonna turn right, I haven’t been up by the old house in over four years now. Maybe Wolf is having a big bash. I’ll keep you guys posted. Driving up Coldwater, which is south of Ventura Boulevard. It’s kinda like Alabama for a minute, ‘go past that first red light, and it’ll be on your right.’ It’s dark, I don’t wanna hit any coyotes. Shoot, looks like they took out that big mailbox that was on the street. Pretty dark. Nope, wrong driveway, around one more bend here. Coincidentally, I’m going home right now to work on my new black-and-white. Wow, there it is, one driveway/road to the right side, one main driveway right in the middle with a big gate. I’m gonna go up the left driveway/road like I’ve done before and then I’ll just turn around. There’s a gate at the end of that road too, I’m sure on the far right road also. Maybe I’ll try that sometime. That one to the right just seems closer to the side of the house. The one I take on the left, it’s like going around a mountain until you get to the gate, can’t really see anything up beyond it. You wouldn’t even know it, just a kind of bumpy older blacktop road. Wish I could post a picture. ‘Wolfie! Wolf!!!” I just hollered at him like I do when I go by Dave’s house. Doing a voice text not too late 11:46 Saturday night. So, not too late. (Maybe at he’s at the big gig in town, Armored Saint and WASP at the Palladium in Hollywood. That’s where I should be too, ha ha.) ‘Wolf!!! Alright man, be good.’ I’m not sure exactly which one is Sammy‘s old house, I don’t know if it’s right next-door… yeah, I guess it was if they really could yell to each other out the windows like Sammy said they could. I’m gonna stop right here in the Ralph’s parking lot, finish this long comment… 76 gas station across the street. Man, I should’ve drove by here a lot more, thought he would be around forever.

That's amazing we are hearing the guy responsible for putting together the Marshall Slash model. That was really pinnacle because Marshall would not do it. The guy from Lynam had sang with Duff's side band, Reloaded? Duff owed him some money and they worked out a deal and he got one of Slash's Silver Jubilee heads, Duff had got it from Slash. It ended up at Highland Music one afternoon when I was there in early 2005. I had taken a pic of it but I put together a deal where a salesman named Dave at Bailey Brothers who had a band, was a Slash disciple, got that amp that day. I can't remember name of his band but I did get to see him play through it at The Nick.
