Bro, I got one for you (about his pick) and this is NOT B.S. Always a V.H. freak and way back they played Dallas so of coarse I had front row just to see what the Hell he did. Amazing enough he walked to the stage edge (while playing) and as he went into tapping, flipped his pick into the crowd and it hit me square tn the chest then fell to the floor. Everybody around dove to the floor but I was standing on it ! Directly to my right stands a HUGE black man and used both his hands to keep me upright as the people scowerd the floor. Eventually they stood back up & this man looked at me & said "still got it" ? I nodded yes and he said "Cool". So, long story short, Live he used a medium ! and I about lost my life over 1.

That’s a great story man! So dang cool. I went to Zeke Clark’s house in Nashville years ago and he gave me one of Eddie’s 5150 picks and it was a thin. He must have changed a lot. Remember he used metal ones during III era??? 😳 lol. I can’t imagine using thins for a whole show. I hate thins. ☮️☮️

The tone sounds so “massive”, especially with the delay. I was wondering, is it really very loud in your studio as you play it, or does it just come across sounding that way? Whenever I try to get that tone, it ends up so loud my ears are ringing a bit when I’m done, which I’m not too crazy about.

Hey man, I record direct at a fairly low level so I don’t get too much bleed on my vocal mic. I mix it in post kinda loud. (And add a stereo delay in protools). It’s all fractal ax8 with a Friedman BE and Friedman 4x12 IRs. 😎🤟🏻. Thanks for the comment 🥂

You could smell it on the tires of the construction equipment they used to scrap their own inventory.. You can love the guitars and the sound but I know you don't love the corporate BS. :) Stay Legit! We all need it. Gibson can't buy what you are.
