I just realized that you two are such good story tellers that you don't have to film every actual event, Merely recounting the experiences you've had are remarkably entertaining, as you showed about the latter part of your short holiday.

Yay for weekly again! A Ben, Emily and Alan video was always the high point of my weekly watching of KZbin videos. It's you guys, Vanessa and Zephyr's Mindful Narrowboat channel, and Danni and Joe that make my narrowboat viewing schedule each week. However, NOBODY has Benny's music except you. His style fits your lifestyle so perfectly, it's hard to describe. You two should have either an episode, or a part of each video where you read or tell us about the history of the areas you visit. You're quite entertaining as teller's of adventures!

speaking of being addicted to our phones - I got rid of all my social media accounts in 2019. I will admit that it was incredibly difficult for the first year. In the first six months I would sign back in and just look at Facebook and Instagram, but then I gradually stopped doing that. I remember thinking that if anyone wanted to contact me or say happy birthday or something like that then they could just call or text me. I’m sorry to say that besides some (but not all) of my direct family, only ONE old school friend has sent me a birthday text every year. No one else has reached out. Either I’m a shit human, or people are just totally reliant upon their social media accounts for basic communication and special occasion reminder purposes. These days I only have KZbin. That’s it. However it means that I get to catch up with you three lovely beings (Alan included of course). This is my story. Thanks for reading and for sharing your adventures. 🙂🐿🌈❤️ sydney australia

Spent many holidays in Devon and Cornwall as a child in the 50s/60s. Tintagel was a favourite and my Dad did a lot of surfing around the area. Back in those days King Arthur’s seat and around was free and we could run around everywhere, a bit like Stonehenge, we have many photos of us three kids sitting on the stones. I absolutely love the whole area!

Glad that you had a good time. The quality of the light is special. Lands End's a dump (like John O Groats) but, yeah, worth doing once. Nearby Lizard Point is the most southerly point on mainland Great Britain and more civilised. The pastries were amazing! You do show us other great savoury food that you cook.

So Great!!! what a fun adventure! on my list to visit again! ! I was at Tintagel in 1977. I was so entranced by the histories of King Arthur and Merlin. The bridges were not there then. Thank you for the memories. Glad to hear you will be filming more. You both look very well and happy. I love watching Allan and hearing her purr.

Here in Northern Michigan (Copper Harbor area) we have oodles of Pasty shops but only a couple of them are the real traditional style. The miners here (European) would always take them down with them for their lunch. I love them as they are basically a meal in a pie form. So yummy. Your music is always so calming... great work Benny.

Hi, Ben and Emily. Just a suggestion. If you head down to Cornwall again, and you have the time, a trip around Devon for a couple of days would be well worth it. I spent a week in Devon and visited Cornwall as well. Really enjoyed it, especially the pasties! Been down there twice. It's like a different setting to Cornwall. Love all your videos. So interesting.

I had a little smile to myself when Emily said you had basically driven to Penzance/Cornwall for pastries…. Back in the summer of 2018, I drove my 18yr old son and myself down to Brighton (from near Lichfield), and home again the same day, just to try out a fabulous burger from a small “shed” under the arches… I had followed the owner and his Trollburger business, since he commented on an IG post by one of my favourite bands. All his meat and veg, etc, were sourced from local ethical farms. He’s now closed up, and is working up in Scotland somewhere. It was a great day, although very tiring as it was me doing all the driving. A great experience though!
