5 years now. My floor is thick felt then corflute which is plastic cardboard to catch dirt. On top is rubber jigsaw matting with holes for dirt to fall through. Then velvet bath mats on top. The bath mats can be washed in a washing machine. I sleep on a Thermarest camp mattress. So comfortable

That stuff is amazing. I live in a 10x14 shed and I don't have my floors done. I put that carpet felt down last winter and covered it with a few fleece blankets and a bed cover and it kept my floor warn. Cozy on the feet too. You're gonna love it!! I'm so excited to see your end product. The chimes made me tear up a bit! Lol my children will be reminded of me that way too. I have them everywhere. I love their music.

I have been working on my 2014 NV200 getting ready for living on the road , for the last 7 days, I did have a year of planning for it. I’m getting it done before Back surgery, will probably be about 2 months before I can go, I’m having A L4-5 fusion . I haven't done any big modifications on my 2011 because, you know, life. I also had some mechanical issues that cost more than planned. I still have the factory bench seat installed in my premium wagon but have removed the platform I built that I trimmed around it. As this is now my only vehicle, I was hesitant to remove the bench. However, I rarely have more than one passenger, so I will be keeping the front passenger in but will be removing the bench seat. I like your rearrangement so I'm glad I waited until this week to clear out the back. Thanks for the inspirational videos.

It is a 2010. It is not XLT. I think the wheelbase is 115 inches.

Vans have So many possibilities? Various layouts? I am building Promaster 136" HR but keep thinking what if I did this or that? Maybe put bed over there? Ect? Works in progress

Ms. Dee, is there a reason you didn't consider carpet padding to put under your area rug? I just wondered if there was a problem with off-gassing or something that kept you from going with that. how wonderful to spend time with your sister traveling. I pray for your safety while you girls are out and about. I can't wait to see what comes from The Creative Mind Of Dee this time!

I think it is carpet padding. Just thicker and wool is moisture wicking.🙂
