Van Life in a Louisiana Swamp

Hi guys! Just found your channel. I am in Ontario, Canada. I was struck by the relationship between the two of you and your little doggie companion. I have a very disabled husband, bedridden, battling end stage Parkinson's. If this health challenge would not be present, this is the life we would have sought for ourselves after retiring. We traveled all down the East Coast to Key West. Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas were on our bucket list but never got to go. Seeing what it was like at your camp spot was great. People are really beautiful souls, down South. That pizza oven was a great set-up. Washrooms for the Disabled should be mandatory. Everything should be accessible to everyone. When my husband was in a wheelchair, I had to enter the men's washroom, and I did. No one challenged me because they knew I was there to assist my husband. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to following you on your adventures. By the way, if you have a microwave, you can buy Shampoo Caps. I use them on my hubby. No they are not lol. They totaled 2 of my brother's cars. The boars were fine. One car was actually attacked by the boar while he was at a stop sign. They are mean and do not play at all

I did just recently need to replace my washer and dryer you can in fact still by top loaders with the taller "old-fashioned" oscillator. I have a whirlpool set I love but I wish I would have bought a Speed Queen Commercial Top Load Washer and dryer If you ever need this information. I love your videos and adventures. As a disabled person, I agree.

i am freezing today wednesday north suburb of Pittsburgh, Pa it is gonna warm up this weekend to 32___last week when it got up to 41 degrees we were like its hot___its been very cold for 3 weeks in a row, i never experienced it this bad for this long___crazy snow in the south, stay warm___the alligators survive with their snout sticking out of the ice

No worries at all you take your time and make sure you take care of yourself ❤️ we were able to get the national park pass by going directly to our nearest national park and asking for it. We made sure we had some proof of disability but they didn’t even really ask for it & we got the pass right at a booth entrance. Some you would have to go inside. There might be a chance to do it online and get it mailed to your house but I’m not sure! You can definitely do it in person but call the park ahead of time and ask if they have the disability passes.

It’s a lot of friendly people in the south. I know it’s nice to ask people something that we do as we just keep the GoPro going. Keep the camera going and don’t put faces in and if somebody asks and we’re not in public, we will not film them we’re not added into the footage, but usually most people don’t mind especially if you’re not getting their faces. I found it difficult to document our group snorkeling trip because it’s hard to capture the boat and all the equipment without getting some people involved.
